One night stay was fine. My issue is the lighting. How dark can a room be? Although there were 3 desk lamps, and 2 ceiling lights, the room was so gloomy and dark. It was very depressing. An update should be scheduled for these rooms. I did the 2 full beds with a kitchenette.

The location was nice. Lost of good places to eat close by and close to the beach. Just a short drive from our soccer tournament. It was clean, staff was friendly, and we loved that there was a larger than usual fridge in the room.

Mixed feelings

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It was a good location, staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was clean. However, the beds were not comfortable, the pillows weren’t either, the room was dated and the walls were thin. Unfortunately for me, there were noisy toddlers and teens next to me and it sounded like they were actually in my room.

Rooms are good sized and clean. Bed is comfortable. Heat/Air has thermostat control. Free breakfast with hot items. Hotel is far enough away from the 5 fwy that I could not hear any freeway noise. Overall a good hotel for the price. I'd stay here again.

Roach in bathroom

Roach crawled on bath floor . The dispenser in shower must be broke. There was no way to get it to dispense a reasonable amount to use the liquids. We even asked to have it fixed and it was not. The bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was good. Jacuzzi was nice , parking was fine. Staff were great. Roach in room and the dispensers not working would nix me from coming back again I feel

Weekend getaway

The hotel and room were clean. The place smelled amazing! I was disappointed with the cable channel options as i wanted to have a decent selection of movies to watch. The bedding was not the best. The comforter was flat and not too warm. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best to check out the pool and jacuzzi. The hotel did suite the purpose for the weekend. Location waa great.

The only thing I was very disappointed in was the breakfast, went down at 6:45 am and the bacon was GONE! when I asked about getting more bacon I was told they were out and only serving sausage (which didn't look like it was cooked all the way) so I only had a bagel...

The staff members are very kind and helpful. The hotel is rated 9.2, but I found that the property needs updating. It is located in an area of downtown near the highway that is going to be renewed, so the property nearby is rundown. The standard king room is small, possibly due to the configuration of the kitchenette.
