Condo is old and dated, but fine for a several-day stay.
Cons:
The bathroom sink is at a good level for pre-schoolers but just above knee-level for me. You're in a building with a lot of other people using the plumbing, so the water temperature can suddenly fluctuate. Be prepared to sidestep the spray when you're in the shower.
If you walk from the bedroom to the kitchen at night, you have to walk around the kitchen counter in the dark if you need to turn on a light. The only switch I saw was by the front door. The carpet is old, and at least one lamp had no bulb.
Pros:
The grounds are beautiful, the pool is large and looked well-maintained, the balcony is a nice place to catch an ocean breeze, you can see the ocean between buildings from the balcony, boogie boards on the balcony were useful in the ocean, and you can walk from your door to a sandy beach in less than five minutes.
It's farther from the pier than most other beachside condos, but it's still just a 15-minute walk, and because of the beautifully landscaped grounds, the pool and the self-contained vibe, it felt more like an oasis of serenity amid the bustle and energy of The Strand and pier.
Overall, despite the minor drawbacks, it's a good place. I'd consider staying there again.
