Condo unit itself was wonderful; clean, fully functional, comfortable for our family, and has a beautiful view. No complaints there. However, the listing DID NOT state that the entire property was under construction. Men were hanging from scaffolding, over the balconies, drilling and banging noises all day, starting at 8am and going until 5pm. No sleeping in, no naps on vacation. We spoke with others who were also staying on the property, as we listened to the noise by the pool (and while we listened to the workers Spanish music blasting) and their condo listings stated the property WAS under construction, so it is very disappointing our listing did not state it as we wouldâve NOT stayed there. Just very shady to treat customers that way. People save up their money to come relax on vacation once or twice a year, and itâs very unfortunate there was poor communication. Also, Iâm not sure that the indoor pool and hot tubs were cleaned during the 3 days we were there, as there were gobs of hair and trash on the concrete beside the indoor pool in the same spot each day. I specifically wrote the Poole management team BEFORE we booked and asked if all amenities were working and they wrote back assuring they were. One hot tub was closed, and the other âworkingâ one was halfway full of water. There was caution tape on the front entry doors, with caution tape all over the area where you check in, blocking off entry on one side. They clearly knew construction was taking place.
