Family 4 day winter trip

Rented through VRBO working with Vacasa management group. Pre trip communications were very good. Directions were very clear. Had a bit of trouble with door lock codes but called management group and resolved issue quickly. First unit had furnance issues and again called management group to report issue. First representative from Vacasa was not helpful and very rude. The remaini g individuals were truly magnificent with the repositioning process. Vacasa representative found us a new unit within the building and had us moved within and hour. Second unit gave us door lock issues as well but was solved quickly with actual unit owner texting the needed information. Management group gave us refund for furnance issues as well as refund for difference between the 2 units. Second unit was completely updated very clean and a beautiful patio. Though we had some inital issues the management group and unit owner worked hard to resolve and ensure the appropriate refunds were given quickly. Would certainly recommend these units and will certainly rent again.management management groio and

Needs shade by pool and lazy river

There are no umbrellas for shade by the pool or lazy river which is a health issue. We have stayed at other Phoenix resorts where there are umbrellas by the pool and will probably go to those resorts next time.

First family vacation

First family vacation with our children and grandchildren. Home delivered everything we could’ve asked for. Bedrooms and personal bathrooms for each one. All the amenities of home. Only thing we seen that could be updated was the tvs!

Some problems but overall good

We loved the property however upon arrival at 6pm we had no air conditioning. We discovered the entire complex was out and a chiller had to be installed. We finally had air at 2am. At least that was resolved and saved the trip. Also we were disappointed that the chair rental was $45 a day. Luckily our grandson let my husband sit in his chair and he sat on a blanket. The kids enjoyed the pools and the property was clean, nice and quiet.

Loved the property and the condo. To the eyes rooms were clean but learned very quickly the floors were not and needed to leave shoes on in condo:( Would suggest adding a book to say check requirements as well as local recommendations or delivery options for food. Also to bring beach/pool towels. Master bathroom toilet wouldn’t stop running so had to turn off the water.

Orange Beach getaway

We had all age groups staying in this condo. There was enough room for the little ones to play while the adults could visit in the evening. The view is second to none! So beautiful looking at the gulf and then looking at the wooded landscape too. It is nice having a bathroom for every bedroom. If you want to cook, you need to bring all your spices, even salt and pepper. The outdoor lazy river was a bit chilly as was the kiddie pool. The indoor pool was great along with the sandy beach! We will be back.

Beautiful view and location on the beach

Overall it was a nice stay. There were 9 of us and plenty of space. Some difficulty checking in with pass for the door. Code had to be reset. Additional parking cost for the week surprised us. Reported a broken chair and shower handle - the water ran for about an hour before someone from Vacasa arrived to fix it. Hot water runs out quickly with showers and laundry going at the same time. Some front desk services not available with rental. No cleaning supplies. It was a special spring break trip so we splurged on the condo. A little disappointed with some of the above given the cost. Enjoyed the pool, beach, tennis and fitness room. Orange Beach is beautiful and family oriented.

Excellent condo!!

We had a great experience staying at Phoenix West. The condo is large, spacious and maybe better than advertised. My adult children loved having their own bathrooms and views from their bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved the large pantry. The table was large enough to fit all of us for our meals/games. We loved being steps from the beach, the lazy river and indoor pool/hot tub when it was chilly. You won't go wrong with this rental!

We held 90th birthday celebration. It was perfect for those who were older because of the view.

The property is as presented online. It was almost perfect. The first two codes sent to get into unit did not work, so entry was delayed about an hour. If you have need for a power wheelchair there is a high lip between the living area and the patio of the unit which leaves anyone who is dependent on a chair out of the festivities. As I said ...almost perfect.

Wonderful property but


The property was spacious, clean and nice. We loved that each room had their own full bathroom and there was a half bath in the hallway. The living room area has plenty of seating for a large group and loved having several barstools as well. The view off the deck was simply amazing. I’ll be honest, I booked this property in a haste to secure something for a last minute trip and didn’t realize that it was on the 26th floor. Traveling with small kids and being that high up sorta freaked me out. Please know that it was absolutely ok, the deck was well secured as expected and the kids played out there (supervised of course) a lot. My only issue with this particular condo is that it’s managed by Meyer which is offsite so, if you have any issues with this rental, you have to call and wait and wait and wait some more versus being able to just go downstairs to get help, if needed. The code for the keyless lock stopped working mid-trip and we had to call and hold for someone to help us. We were standing outside of our room for almost an hour, which in vacation time feels like days. Ughh! Once we finally reached a rep on the phone, they were able to help us get back in the condo within 20 minutes or so. Don’t bother asking the front desk for help, they’ll just give you the number to call Meyer. Other than that, our stay was amazing and everyone enjoyed having their own space.

The condo was beautiful and very clean. It looked exactly like the pictures.

Loved it!! We had a group of 4 couples it was nice that each room had at least a queen or king bed and every couple had their own bathroom. Also loved that all windows had an ocean view, including the bedrooms. I highly recommend!!
