They placed out party of 6 in one of those “beachside” type room and the rooms looked to be in despair and were came to find out that we are the last customers to stay in those rooms before the major renovation is taken place (we were in the 3xx rooms). The other romes of beachside rooms are being renovated when we were there. Went and informed the front desk of the raw sewage smell eminated from next door construction, but no action taken due to their full capacity. Other than that issue, almost everything else were good to exellent.

For an all inclusive they did not have any facilities to get sodas or snacks after hours being they didn’t give any in the rooms this was inconvenient. The drinks were all watered down , and they didn’t offer any upgrades. The restaurants were alright. The safe in the room needed to be unlocked and they charged my card 1.50 to call to the front desk. Asked a local if that was normal and they said no. So I assume they charge for their benefit. That 1.50 pissed me off more than anything. All the places I’ve stayed never been charged to call the front desk. Rooms are outdated. Just wasn’t a great hotel for all inclusive.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. That said, the property could use some updates, and the owners should consider investing more in maintenance and improvements. The TV in my room didn’t work—not a major issue since I didn’t use it much, but it should still be functional. For an all-inclusive, the food was decent. If you’re looking for a place to relax and unwind, this serves the purpose.

Beach is nice, but lots of people get up early to put towels out and claim chairs. There are a bunch of options for pools as well depending on which you prefer. Plenty of options for bars and dinner. You can use the Tamarijn restaurants as well and they run shuttles, but lobby to lobby is walkable as the shuttles don’t seem to be on a set schedule. Food was good and Paparazzi was my favorite. Staff were polite and helpful, no issues with anyone. I’m sure at some point I’ll go back.

Pools were outstanding, Beach was so clear and beautiful. Cafe was great for coffee.. Red Parrot did a great job on food, Buffet was average. beepers going off like crazy as you waited for food which was annoying.. Shuttle to Taramind wasn't the best.. NO gift shop or anywhere to buy incidentals... couldn't even buy bottled water there for room.. had to take shuttle to Taramind to buy such things. Sliding doors to balcony with alarms not fun.. nearly impossible to move the sliders.. View amazing.. small little things could be improved but experience was great.. Drinks were good. Cafe Margot (at Taramind) was great view and tapas.. Overall place was great.. would of liked to have fitness center at Divi all inclusive but that was a shuttle ride to Taramind as well. Granted shuttle ride is 3 -5 min away but you wait for them. These little things were outweighed by the amazing beach, view ,etc

Overall we enjoyed our stay, i would consider this a middle of the road, above average all inclusive. No significant complaints, Bottom line is we would stay again, the value was there, but we were not impressed enough to be loyal to them. Here are some things we wish were better - The pools close at 8pm. Its hot as hell all night, i should be able to enjoy a night swim - There isnt much available to eat for a good chunck of the afternoon, i think from 3p-5pm. After a long day at the beach I want a snack on the way back to the room around 4 to rest and get ready for dinner around 730-8. Dont need a full meal, but no reason the buffet cant have snacks, fruit and grab and go suff between meals. - The front desk was never staffed appropriately for check in and check out. Long lines and long waits! Unfortunately my first and last impression was frustration! - The onsite car rental is way too expensive. Better options if you look on your own. - No bathrobes?? Even on request they didnt seem to be available. Housekeepinf didnt even know what i meant when i asked Plenty to like about the resort though, dont get me wrong :) - Staff was super helpful and nice! - Food was good, no complaints for an all inclusive situation. - Beach access and pools were easy. Chairs available and didnt have issues finding places to sit. - Property was in good shape, always being cleaned. Standrad repairs happening, but nothinf our of the ordinary
