Enjoyed our time - the best views! Fairly clean, older stovetop and no dishwasher. Could use some hot pads to get things out of the oven. Nice place

Great Place!

Great views and great space! Plenty of room! This place has the best beach! Our family had a place next door for many years, so it felt like home walking the same beach. We found ourselves staying in for meals more than we typically do because we liked being able to stay inside with the views. It was really stormy when we were there. We only had one of six days that were sunny all day, but always waited for breaks in the weather to walk the beach.The kitchen had everything we needed as far as pans and utensils etc. Bring spices etc, if you want more than the basics. There was a large container of pepper and olive oil, but no salt. Fine for us because we brought our own things. Just a suggestion for the next person. We do the same beach trip every year and plan to stay here next year! This unit has 17 stairs, which was fine for us. We are in our 50’s and the more steps we get the better. It may not be a good fit for all, but the views are definitely better from the higher units.I forgot to mention that it does back to 101, so there is traffic noise if the windows are open. Spending many years by this location, we are used to it and it does not bother us at all, the beach and views on the front side are the important thing. :)

Clean, comfortable, basic w/great views

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and comfortable. With a couple of minor exceptions, everything was in good repair, and worked well. This is a very basic, but great value accommodation. Note that "Free toiletries" is limited to a bare minimum of hand soap and a 3-in-one bodywash/shampoo/conditioner. I recommend bringing your own - especially if you need body or hand lotion because there wasn't any. I was glad I brought my own shampoo and conditioner. My hair would not have been happy with what was available. Management response and resolution was quick and helpful when we needed assistance. The location couldn't have been better, and the view is amazing. We would definitely stay again.

Short Title

We've stayed here before. Long before, in fact - when it was just a string of knotty pine rooms called Terry A While. The accommodations were simpler then, but the beach was as close and alluring as it remains today. The bed mattress had a big dip on the left side and was uncomfortable to sleep on. Thank God for the futon!

Served its purpose for a short stay. It was all about the view and beach access. Some recommendations: 1) add anti slip tape to all of the outside wooden steps leading to the unit. Half are missing snd slippery ehen wet. 2) unit was bare bones furnished. Could have been better done… a few hand me downs only. 3) clean up the tv install. Loose wires everywhere. 4) Could usr a larger tv. Too small for that size room.

On the beach

The unit was very clean and plenty of space for a couple. A single bathroom but it was huge. Windows facing the beach gave you an excellent view of the water. Close beach access and well equipped to bring your dog. Just a few minor negatives. Highway noise was noticable. Stairs were challenging to cart our food and belongings upstairs since we are older. (Maybe a bottom unit would be better for us, but the view would not have been as good.) And there were a couple of scorched frying pans on arrival that needed to be cleaned with a brillo pad. Overall it was a great location and nice facility to stay in and we had a nice time.

Great stay!

My family and I had a great stay here! Very clean, amazing location, quiet! We enjoyed the closeness of the beach and took advantage of the short walk very often. Also a great location and close to several different towns with great food and local shopping! The only thing I would change is a bigger tv (the current one is tiny) for rainy days and more comfortable lounging furniture! But overall definitely would stay at this property again!

My wife took me to the beach for my birthday! We had a wonderful time. Very cute place. Right on the beach! If you have a mobility issue, there are stairs to get up to it.

Beautiful view....windows were filthy. We have stayed at many properties over the years and this was one I would never stay again. Access to the beach was awesome. But we came to enjoy each others company also and sitting around watching that tiny tiny TV was what can I say unbelievable. Futon not comfortable. Kitchen was acceptable but please replace the dirty pans. Only 4 forks 4 knives really!!!! everytime we used one to cook we had to wash. Very disappointed

Great location, lovely decor

Enjoyed our stay, loved the proximity to many beautiful spots along the coast. Unit is very nicely decorated with some lovely beach decor. Very clean, very comfortable bed. A couple of minor issues with microwave door cracked and a stove plate not working correctly, but property manager very responsive, so no problem for us. Also really appreciated the beautiful ocean view.

The view is incredible and enough sightseeing if that’s what you want to do. I was looking for a quiet getaway to recharge. Walks on the beach, amazing. This certainly fit my needs. Very clean. I loved it and felt very safe being a solo traveler.

Great Stay Despite Hard Bed

We loved the unit and especially the magnificent view! However, the bed was rock-hard, and very uncomfortable to sleep on, especially with our bad backs. We tried turning the mattress over, which did not help much. We resorted to putting a thick blanket on top and under the sheet, which helped marginally; however, it was still extremely uncomfortable and we woke up with painful backs. We wish the skillets had non-stick surfaces, as they were difficult to cook with; however, we do understand the necessity of providing cooking essentials that are difficult to scratch and damage. Aside from those too inconveniences, we loved the unit and again, the beautiful view, and wish we could have stayed longer. We recommend this stay, but also advise you bring a mattress topper for sleeping comfort!

Beach getaway

Clean property, close/easy access to the beach. Very sparse on essentials; no shampoo/conditioner, empty salt and pepper shakers, very few coffee cups and drinking glasses. Because this unit sits right off of the highway, it was extremely noisy. Also, cannot check in until 4pm and need to vacate by 10am. Will not be returning to this rental.

Amazing beach front stay

Wow, all I can say is this stay was perfect for my husband, dog and I. We had great food in yachats, watched whales from the balcony, had beach fires, and had an amazing relaxing time. 10/10 recommend!
