I want to start by saying the house was beautifully decorated, very welcoming, and offered several amenities that worked well for our family.That said our experience was significantly impacted by ongoing issues with the pool and hot tub. We paid an additional fee in advance to have both heated, with the expectation that the pool would be 86 and the hot tub 100. From the first day, neither came close to those temperatures. The hot tub, in particular, was never hot and often felt the same as—or even cooler than—the pool.I reported the issue daily and repeatedly requested that someone come inspect the system, but no one ever did. The only responses we received were screenshots from an app showing temperature readings, which did not reflect the actual conditions. I made it clear that the readings were inaccurate, but no further action was taken.This was extremely frustrating, as the outdoor hot tub was a primary reason we chose this property. It never functioned properly, and, notably, the resort’s waterpark pools were consistently warmer than the pool at the home. At one point, I was told the temperature depended on the outdoor air temperature, which is difficult to accept given that other nearby pools maintained warm temperatures. When I requested a partial refund for the heating fee due to the issue, it was denied. Guests should be aware that this fee is required upfront, and in our case, no compensation was offered despite the service not being delivered as advertised.
