Our stay was interrupted by multiple issues at this house and we’re not resolved at time of check out.Circuit breaker tripping - bedroom and bathroom had no electricity many days, multiple games out of order in game room - very disappointing for my grandkids - we picked this house for the game room, master bath on first level had a light over the bath tub that was popped out exposing wires thus we could not use -mgmt came out repaired it but popped out again, this is not a secured neighborhood- the gates don’t work and are open for anyone to come into, front door lock needs repaired/replaced as deadbolt does not always lock—we were told to give it a “gentle push”, and LASTLY the lot next door is a garbage collecting station where large garbage trucks come throughout the day…trash blowing everywhere.Owner was not sympathetic almost defensive and there was no resolution. So don’t be fooled (like us) by all the high ratings.

The house was nice, but some of the games were broke in the arcade, and the pool table is not usable, etc. When we arrived, we had to plunge a toilet for a while to get it to work. The house was as described, and clean enough. The biggest disappointment was not knowing there was a fee for the pool heater until we were there. We would have gladly paid for this upfront, given the weather especially. The neighborhood this house is in is gated, but people were being dropped off and walking into the neighborhood in large groups, they were standing out front in large groups, around our vehicles and in the parking lot, late at night. I will not stay at a Storey Lake property in the future because of this.

BEWARE OF DIAMOND VACATION RENTALS and STOREY LAKE neighborhoods. Security is non-existent (even though listing says “24h gated security”)! Drove up to a broken gate and Diamond takes no accountability. Stayed 1 night and woke up to major police activity in the community. We left early and are still trying to recoup our money from the 4 nights we didn’t stay. Horrible experience and communication from Diamond was beyond frustrating.

Very disappointed in the condition of the home and its amenities. The oven didn’t work and the BBQ grill we had to “rent” partially worked. Our gate passes also worked intermittently. This could be a great place to stay if the owner actually maintained the home. Wouldn’t recommend in its current condition.

The host was responsive to our concerns and issues, which we appreciate. However, it was disappointing that when we arrived the house was not stocked with what was promised (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc). The rooms were also different from what were pictured, which again was disappointing based on what the families were planning on for the kids. A positive was that the house was clean.
