This is our second year in a row staying at The Grove. We had an excellent time on the resort. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the amenities were great as there are a lot of offerings. Couple small things: only 2 rolls of towel paper for the bathroom for a week will just cause more work for your housekeeping staff,

Not what we were expecting! The grounds were lovely and scenic conveniently located to shopping and parks. The pools were very nice. However the unit we stayed in was poorly maintained and dirty with a clogged shower drain, smell of animal urine and old pilled bed linens. The unit is equipped with a washer dryer and kitchen so there was no housekeeping service, linens were never changed, clean towels were not provided, and garbage removal was up to the tenant.

Lots of positives about this property! The door weather stripping has been removed on doors to make sure the ENTIRE building knows you've arrived with a BANG! Every time! The closed A/C system generously recirculates stale interior air to make sure your hypoxia kicks in nice and slow giving you the most buzz and delulu's. It also works overtime to make sure your face is REALLY cool in the bedroom while your legs are nice and roasty for optimum drainage of blood away from the head. Bathroom fan has been cleverly tied to bathroom's lights so that you don't have to make an extra trip to turn off that pesky fan that tries to suck up the robust bathrooms smells late at night letting the A/C do its awesome re-circulation thing instead. The kitchenette faucet is also great at pouring water at the sides and back of counters instead of the annoying little sink. Great for washing countertops! Oh, and the cherry on the cake is the literal floating bathroom floor to make you feel like you're walking on the clouds above the layers and layers of bacteria underneath. Really nothing to complain about at this property!

Overall the accommodations, price, property, rooms, staff were good. Areas of concern were the room keys and getting locked out multiple times. Each lockout took considerable time to get resolved. The front desk is very difficult to engage and there is no direct line to maintenance or room services. This, by far, was the most inconvenience we had. Experience with the management, staff and maintenance was pleasant and professional. The second inconvenience was the bus transfer where leaving the facility was on time but return was over 1 hour later than schedule. While these two inconveniences were problematic we have to decide whether it’s worth another try considering that I don’t expect this to change based on our experience. Outside of this, the stay was good.

I booked a room at The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando through Expedia, expecting to enjoy the amenities and accommodations showcased on their website. However, upon arrival after midnight with my young child, I was informed that our reservation was actually for a different building adjacent to the main resort. This building bore little resemblance to the photos and descriptions provided online. After unloading our luggage, we had to drive back to the other building, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. The room lacked basic services: no housekeeping during our two-night stay, an empty refrigerator without even bottled water, and no room service available. Expedia’s listing mentioned a complimentary daily beverage, which we never received. Upon checkout, we were surprised with multiple additional fees exceeding $100, none of which were clearly disclosed during the booking process or at check-in. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. The on-site restaurant was subpar, with low-quality food. Overall, the service was lacking, and the experience did not match the expectations set by Expedia’s listing.
