Last minute they canceled

They canceled my reservation hours before I was supposed to be there With no explanation. They held my money for about 5 business days, which is inconsiderate. They ruined my trip. I thought I was gonna have a nice relaxing trip but I had to book my hotel reservations a day at data time. I didn't get any credits, no apologies, no phone calls, no nothing, then I got a email 3 days later saying that the room had a leak.

Great neighborhood for staying close to parks

Property is well maintained and condo was very clean. This is our second time staying on this property and we like the very quick, easy drive to ESPN where our child was competing.

Family Friendly

Our party of five enjoyed their time here. The waterslides and lazy river were the cherry on top. It was close to Disney and a short drive to the convention center for volleyball. Would definitely stay here again!

Storey Lakes Resort

The communication with the host was amazing. The unit was pretty clean however I was disgusted with some hair & dirt found in the shower and a few "clean" dishes with food stuck to it. Also, there was no television in the childrens room which I found strange and the adult bed was not comfortable at all. It also has a smell to it which I found hard to sleep on. Overall the place was beautiful and the host was great at communication but they need to do a better job at cleaning.

Clean, safe and convenient

Renting the property was fast and straight forward. Everything in the apartment was clean and inviting. Great location! Off of 192 with lots of stores and fun places to visit. Target and Walmart only a few blocks away. The club house and Pool were great but could get crowded. Stayed to one of the smaller pool locations and was great. Couple of recommendations would be blackout shades in the master bedroom and maybe a few more towels. Ver happy with our stay at Storey lake. Also maybe some signage or guidance as to where the garbage gets disposed of outside.

Orlando Getaway

This property seemed fairly new and located in a great community, surrounded by lakes and plenty of relaxing scenery. My family and I were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations, which more than enough for the four of us. The 2-born condo was clean and spacious. Each night of our trip we were able to come back to the condo and fully relax after a full day at the theme parks or other activities. Having this condo made the difference for our trip and we'll consider this place again, should we find our planning to include Orlando.

BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED!

We booked this villa after the hotel we had booked received very bad reviews the month before we were to arrive. The pool is what caught our attention as we have a child. When we arrived to our villa, we were thrilled with everything about it, from the dĂ©cor to the view of the pond. The master bedroom has a stunning ensuit with a stand up shower and double vanity. The second bedroom has a double bunk over a double which was perfect for us! The kitchen had all the things one needs to cook whatever necessary complete with a coffee maker! This place was truly amazing and won’t hesitate to book it again when we return. The only things that could use improvement is the master bedroom didn’t have blackout curtains and the security lights make the room light up like daytime and the bed seems to be very old and completely uncomfortable so my husband and I didn’t sleep very well. The best part was the washer and dryer inside the unit as it made it very easy to keep up with the laundry! Thank you for the amazing villa to complete our wonderful 2 week vacation!

BEWARE of ineptitude of Mgmt Company

We have stayed in multiple units within Storey Lakes and have NEVER had an experience like our last vacation. The checkin process went smoothly and accessing our unit was flawless, however, this was the last thing that went well on our trip. Upon entering the unit we noticed that the kitchen had a lot of fruit flies. We attempted to get rid of them but there were too many. We reached out to Shine Villas to let them know about the nuisance but because it was late we told them we'd take care of them. Day 2 started uneventfully but upon returning midday it went downhill. We returned to the unit around noon to find out the unit had no electricity. We immediately called Shine Villas and were told they would investigate. We saw another homeowner who informed us that electricity was transferred from builder to the owner. Shine Villas was clueless to this fact and as a result we were without power all day. After much persistence and unrelenting pressure on our part Shine Villas finally placed us in another unit. This new unit was just as nice as the one we originally rented however one of the toilets was not working and the other leaked and flooded the bathroom. We called Shine Villas and were informed someone would come to service them. They never came and we were left with one bathroom for the family that leaked in the bathroom stall. We will NEVER rent a property with Shine Villas again. Communication is spotty at best and if you have any issues please do not expect a prompt response.
