The apartment is perfectly located with a view of the cathedral and sound of the bells chiming on schedule. We were not greeted by a person, therefore, we had some difficulty learning how to operate appliances etc. We could never figure out how to operate the stove or AC. The stove is gas and we were afraid of a gas leak occurring due to not operating it properly. We decided eating at restaurants would be easier and safer. The AC did not turn on when we attempted to follow the written directions. We were told to plug in the AC, follow the directions and use the remote. Our 2nd attempt failed. Fortunately, the weather was not hot and we could get cool by opening the windows. I noticed another portable AC in the bedroom with the king size bed. We did not attempt turning it on as we chose to sleep in the room with twin beds. The bathroom shower stall is small and showed signs of age. The water pressure was lower than what we are accustomed to. The apartment should have lamps for comfort lighting. The small round globes do not provide enough light for reading etc. so we used ceiling lights. I made a huge mistake when booking because this apartment has no elevator and it is located on the 3rd floor. Having to navigate 3 flights of stairs (especially with luggage) was difficult for us. Our taxi driver was kind enough to assist us with carrying luggage on our arrival date and on our departure date. Our stay was ok, however, not one of our favorite memories.
