The house was perfect for our trip with our kids and grandkids. Each bedroom with en suite bathroom plus an extra full bath was especially nice. One of the main reasons we booked this house was for all the outdoor living space, from the large upper deck with plenty of seating to the lower patio near the dock.
The new swim dock was perfect for our 3 yr old granddaughter to jump off and climb back up the ladder.
We would definitely stay here again.
We truly enjoyed our stay in this Lake house. The home was clean and just the right size, large enough for privacy. The extra refrigerator and bathroom were a plus, as was the packnplay!
We had a a few snags but none that affected our trip. The hosts were easily reached and quick to respond .It was located in a nice quiet cove though we didnât have an opportunity to swim off the dock as we had hoped. There was Too much floating debri due to nature. No ones fault. However the dock was perfect for fishing. We rented a boat and it was so easy and convenient to dock it by the house. We were able to drive the boat to another cove to swim. Loved the area and location. We enjoyed Margaritavilleâs pools and dining was so convenient.
Weâd stay again.
From the moment we stepped in the front door I knew we made a great choice! So clean. So organized. So spacious. We did not need one thing or encounter any issue during our Sun-Thursday stay. Lake access easy! Pool is. Five -10 minute walk. We will be back in the Fall.
This house was perfect for our family if 10 ranging from ages 7 to 70! The lake front offered stunning views from inside or on one of the 3 large decks. Inside offered plenty of space to gather for meals and activities in the great room. The privacy of each of the 3 bedrooms with on suite bathrooms worked out perfectly. The kids loved the private dock for fishing and swimming. The pools in the Margaritaville subdivision were close to the house and fun for all. We also went to the resort pool with water slides for the kids! The property sold right before our stay and new owners took possession while we were there with a smooth transition. The new owners were great to work with and swift to respond to our questions and needs. They have plans to turn this great property into a grand one!! Canât wait to rent it again to see their proposed updates. There are so many activities in the area from cave tours to go carts to make lasting memories with your family!!
Our family loved this trip! Osage beach was empty and we had such a blast without the crowds! We left a blizzard in Michigan so the 60/70âs temps were great for us! The Margaritaville resort had lots of restaurants, the kids enjoyed the boat rental, bowling alley, water park, & arcade. We also visited near by go karts and restaurants, as well as bridal caves & haha Tonka state park. We fished off the dock daily, enjoyed bonfires, and the kids became friends with some ducks who loved being fed a few times per day đ the house worked great for our 3 growing boys, they stayed upstairs and had the whole place to themselves! Highly recommend for making amazing family memories!
We didn't realize this property was a part of the Margaritaville community, it was nice to have access to their pools but some of their onsite entertainment (indoor pool, arcade) were filthy.
The property itself was spacious, well equipped with amenities, but could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning - both inside and outside.
This was the perfect house for 6. It was very spacious. We had fun kayaking from the dock. We rented a boat to explore the lake from the Marina in Margaritaville which is a very short distance from the house. There is lots to do! We will be back!
This house was a perfect place for 3 generations to gather for a long weekend, with plenty of room to spread out in. We liked the tucked-away, quiet location and especially having our own dock. The day we rented a boat, the âcaptainâ fetched it and drove it to us to load up people, toys and coolers. The small but nice pool was a five minute walk. The kitchen and eating area worked great for the 7 of us to cook and eat together. And the house was a short drive from any attractions we wantedârestaurants, mini golf, ice cream, the Grand Glaize beach, etc.
Really enjoyed our stay.
Pros: The house was more then enough for for 8 of us. Everyone having their own bathroom was fantastic. Living room and dining had lots of seating. Bedrooms very nicely decorated and comfy beds and linens. Upstairs bed had a super cute kitchenette, that was a nice touch. Lots of windows to let all the beautiful view in. Location was great, nice quiet cove and great dock.
Cons: There could of been a bit more attention paid to cleaning. Deck was messy, lots of spill stains on it, chairs all disheveled, only would of taken a few mins to look presentable. The table on the main deck just did not work. Huge pain trying to sit down or get up with 8 of us. Upstairs toilet only flushed when it wanted to so we didnât use it much. Shower curtain liners need to be replaced.
All and all we would stay here again and would recommend to friends. Iâd suggest getting a new table for upstairs deck and tighten up the cleaning standards.
Spent a few days at this lovely house over Spring Break with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids (ages 1 and 3). The house has plenty of space to spread out. Even though it was too chilly to enjoy the outside space, the view of the lake at sunset was great. It was also a bonus to use the woodburning fireplace but we did have to bring/buy wood. Also had to bring/buy ice because the icemaker is broken and there are no trays. It was a great set up and we most definitely enjoyed the location. Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful get away at this property. Highly recommend for a family. Wonderfully setup to have enough room to get together, and privacy when you need some me time.
Disappointed to find sign on dishwasher that it was broken upon checking in. Should have been notified in advance. The ice maker also quit working while we were there. The house was very comfortable and relaxing, enjoyed spending time outside on the decks especially the deck on the water. The inside of house was clean, outside was trashy. Could have been easily taken care of with a blower and some water. Little TLC could make good great.
The house is gorgeous, and well kept. The dock and the patio were amazing to hangout on, but the steps too and from were uneven and dangerous. Overall, I'd still rent this place again.
My wife and I met up with our great family friends and their two young girls for a week. The place couldn't have worked out better for us. We brought our boat so we made great use of the dock and spent a ton of time on the lake. Boating, tubing, swimming, and restaurant hopping were all part of our water fun. Played a couple of golf courses that were both very nice. Suffice to say, by the end of each day, we were exhausted and just enjoyed catching the sunsets off the back deck.
The one tiny issue we had was a stopped up drain at check in, but it was so nice to make one call and Chris was there first thing the next morning to remedy it. Well done.
Thanks Jake and Adrienne for sharing your home with us.
The space and ample seating was great for two families of four traveling together. We loved being able to use the amenities at Margaritaville and having a marina on the property to rent a boat! The only negative comment I could say is the bugs needs swept up outside of the house. It was nice for all of the rooms to have their own balconies but there were a lot of dead bugs that needed cleaned up.
