Nice and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at Chisun Inn.The hotel is on a small street, very close to the subway station. Many eateries are close by. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was in room laundry facility, microwave oven, and even a kitchenette. However, no pots, pans nor utensils were provided. We didn't experience much street noise as our room was on sixth floor facing the front street, not the expressway. We also like the staff for always being so cheerful and made us feel welcome.

awful hotel

one of the worst hotels ive ever stayed in. Definately not 3 star, more like a hostal. The room was small, smelt bad and dirty. the carpets were filthy, the bed was small and full of hairs good location near a tuve stop. would NOT recomend this hotel

We spent one night at this hotel, average hotel for just night sleep. No major attraction within walking distance except the subway station is 1 min away.

This is right next to Higobashi station, but not much else. It's at least quieter here in this part of town, so if you want to see Osaka but you don't want all the awful noise, foot traffic, and the smell, then this might be the place for you. Walls were not in great shape -- there were some dirt marks on it. Slippers were of really cheap quality. But serviceable otherwise; can't really complain.

We have a nice experience in this hotel. It's only half a minute to railway. There is a little kitchen in hotel and we can borrow cooking tools at counter. And there is washing machine and it is dry in the next day when we put into washroom. Everything is good and we love this hotel. However, as this is business district, there's no stores nearby except Lawson.

A no-frill decent stay at this inn.

I am just not use to the size of hotel rooms in Japan. They are a bit too small & Chisun Inn is no difference. Thank goodness for the close proximity to the subway which is just a minute walk from the exit and a 24-hr convenient store just across the street. There are hidden gems in the neighborhood like small family-run restaurants.

Value for money, will come again

Clean, bright and spacious room for two big suitcases and all shopping goods! Good location with a few steps to a metro station and about 15-20min walk to Osaka Station. Wifi is reasonably strong in the room. For improvement, it will be great if the staff could prepare the futon at night as it may be too tired after a whole day excursion!

Very close to metro, convient store and 松屋

Love the location (literally 1min from Higobashi metro station). It is just across the road from Lawson (convenient store) and Matsuya (Japanese style convenient store). Didn't like the tatami, and whilst the kitchen is equipped with kettle, microwave and stove, there was no cooking/eating utensils. The washer and dryer is definitely a big plu.

Bigger room

Although a little hard to find (even the taxi driver had difficulty) the hotel provided a larger standard room with extra facilities including washing machine and dryer, and cooking facilities.

Convenient Hotel

we stayed at a room with kitchen, tatami space, and washing machine. a washing machine helps our trip a lot under humid weather. there are so many restaurants near (walk distance). you should check ramen-restaurant going towards west (need to across Yotsubashi street). subway is almost next to hotel and one stop to Umeda (Osaka Station), and a few stops to Namba. There is Matsuya (beef bowl first food) on the corner of Yotsubashi, and they serve very inexpensive breakfast set. You should check on it. Futon on the tatami floor is thin and I had to ask something extra under it not to hurt my body.... bed is only for one person size although it is said "semi-double"

Wonderful room but some problem.

The staff is wonderful and my main reason for the three star over all. The rooms are spacious and it has a nice kitchenette. I did had a few problems figuring out how to use all the extras. No English translation of the washer, bathroom fan or the hot water for the bathroom. (I know I'm in Japan learn to read the local writing, they had English translations for everything else so..) Last problem is your right next to an expressway and you will hear the cars all night. But you are right on top of a subway station so travel is easy.

Nice cozy hotel next to subway entrance.

The place was conveniently located next to the subway entrance and near many good restaurants. The hotel staff provided a list of a couple dozen good places to eat that were walking distance. The wifi was so so, but the room had a kitchen, frig, washing machine, microwave, stove and enough space for 4 of us to stay. I would stay here again on my next trip to the area.

Don't Checkout Late!

Hotel is very basic, located in an office area with a convenience store nearby but shelves were empty when we were there. Not many restaurants nearby. Room could have been cleaner. We checked out a few minutes after the very early 10 am checkout and staff told us we would have to pay a penalty fee. They agreed to waive the fee but only if we joined their membership club and gave up personal information.

Location and washing machine in a room :)

this hotel provide washing machine in a room and air dryer at bathroom. This is good for family trip especially those doesn't really want to bring too many clothes. The location is excellent, just few steps to Higobashi Station. But, some of the hotel room (my room was one of it room-->808) is directly facing express way which will produce some vehicle noise for 24 hours. Saturday night probably terrible as my wife and me wake up by the car racing at the express way. Anyway, we are too tire everyday after coming back to hotel and could sleep back again even wake up by some noise at midnight. Last but not least, the hotel provide microwave, but did not provide any plate or spoon, just couple of ceramic cup, so you really just can use it when you buy something directly from mart that can direct put into the microwave.
