The property is older compared to other hotels I have stayed in Japan, there is a lingering smell that is in the rooms that I wasn't a fan of, but it is clean and the staff is wonderful. It is just due for some renovations.

Noise from planes either taking off or landing seems like every minute. Really not pleasant at all. Restaurants in the hotel were closed during our stay and we had awful food at a restaurant near the outlets.

Good location for flight transfer

I had a nice stay in the hotel during my flight transfer to Europe. It is close to airport, 10min by train with only 1 stop to airport, walking distance from train station. Room is clean and spacious with nice sea view, reception is also very helpful. Nearby, many places for shopping. Thanks!

This is a dated hotel but it's beautiful with huge room. The view was perfect. We love our stay here, just walking distance from the train station from Osaka. The outlet store is walking distance as well and they have free shuttle to Kansai Airport.

We loved our layover 1 night stay at Star gates hotel with free water for us was a super plus. The rooms are dated but they are super clean and huge for Japan room sizing. All 4 of us got a bed which was opposite of all our previous hotels. Best view of Japan and we will visit and state at star gates hotel again. Staff was amazing and we had them hold our luggage’s while we walk the local shopping mall.
