The property boosts that they are walking distance to public transportation, and busy areas of the city. In reality, the property has the lobby centered to the side street and it almost looks like an abandoned building from the outside. There is one restaurant across the road from the hotel. I’m pretty much that’s the closest thing if you are willing to walk several blocks there are some good eating options. Just make sure to make reservations in advance. There is even a one Michelin star about five blocks away. The breakfast buffet was not bad. There were plenty of options and everything seemed fresh. The dining hall is a bit small but seemed OK if you considered there is an overflow dining area room just down the hall. The staff from the buffet were really nice and accommodating. But the front desk staff could be a little more friendly when we asked about their late night door policies the answer was given very condescendingly.

För vår resa till Oslo så var vi egentligen bara ute efter ett hyfsat bekvämt ställe att sova för att vi visste att vi inte skulle spendera någon direkt tid på hotellet. För det ändamålet var det absolut dugligt men förväntar man sig ett trivsamt hotell att spendera tid på och njuta av vistelsen så lär man bli ordentligt besviken! Mycket på rummen va slitet eller trasigt och det var GALET varmt om nätterna och på morgonen, både på rummet och i frukostsalen. Hotellet ser även ut som en övergiven bensinstation från utsidan, vilket förbryllade oss en hel del. Frukosten innehöll många olika valmöjligheter men det låg en skolbespisningskänsla över det hela och det smakade som mat som lagats utan att bry sig om resultatet. Definitivt ätbart, men inte mer än så. Behöver du en relativt billig plats att sova på i Oslo så absolut men skulle nog snarare rekommendera att i stället kolla upp ett bra vandrarhem.
