Very clean and modern room and amenities. Excellent breakfast menu and atmosphere. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms and bathrooms. Terrible surroundings with lots of homeless people, very dirty streets, nothing to do with the hotel, but very unpleasant the second you step outside.

property is clean but the only thing we didn’t like is the bathroom door which is a frosted glass sliding door.for us there’s not much privacy if u use the bathroom and when we came back from dinner outside, the bathroom ceiling was leaking so badly.we came back late night and tired hoping we can relax right away but instead we have to packed our stuff to move to other room.quite frustrating for us.

The hotel is nice and clean, with friendly staff and a great location close to main attractions, dining options, and ByWard Market. However, the surrounding area doesn’t feel very safe or pleasant for walking, especially with family. The streets are dirty and there are many homeless people nearby. They charge $35 CAD for parking, which feels unfair given the neighborhood’s condition—I think they should waive the fee to help offset the inconvenience.

Superbe new hotel despite some downside

Superbe new hotel, staff super friendly and professional. However it seems all the room are qualified as with “city view”, but we weren’t lucky enough to get the one with corner windows facing parliament hill, we were instead facing another building just a few meter away. The TV wasn’t properly working so we weren’t able to use it, they gave us a second remote but it didn’t changed the problem, and only proposed to have a technician on the morning, but we were there for one night :)
