Kindness

The desk manager was so nice. She changed our rooms around so my mother-in-law could use an accessible shower. She even went out of her way to run a shower chair down to her room. We really felt the staff not only offered great service, but genuine kindness to us.

This is a great affordable find in North Ottawa! Near enough for hiking and strolling and enjoying town. Safe and clean and friendly!! Pool…Hot tub… hot breakfast….beds were very comfy and towels and shower was outfitted with shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a lotion! They are dog friendly too!

Since the last time I stayed, which has been a while, I noticed the hotel had some upgrades done. I love the new look. The process with everything was great. They are very attentive to your needs. I even got a text message during my stay from management to make sure my stay was going well and to see if I had any concerns. They kept up with the cleaning of the rooms right on point, what I mean is, we had to go get a few things but planned on coming back, and in that hour or two we were gone they had the room cleaned. I was impressed. While the price is a bit high to me, I always tend to choose Hampton Inn Ottawa Starved Rock bc they are always giving great service. Kim is great by the way! And I believe the cleaning person’s name was Marna, according to the card, she was great too! Thank you guys for being on point!
