Great spot- easy access to the parliament buildings and Rideau canal. My one and only issue- What’s up with no fitted sheets?! I’m not a fan of how easily the top sheet- meant as a bottom sheet- comes off and then you’re on a mattress pad!

Games room for teens, no balls to play ping pong, unable to use table hockey no puck. If you advertise the room , ensure it’s operational. Went to pool in evening only a few towels left, water everywhere. Not sure if area checked thru out the day

Irrespective of the current renovations, this was a poorly maaged Marriott. The lobby bathrooms had no soap, the pool area ran out of towels, so many people and families had to go back to their rooms wet, even when several people called for towels, it didnt come for a long time. Lastly, we ran out of conditioner and body wash in our room. When i called and asked for more, conditioner was broguht up, but I was told the hotel ran out of body wash, so I asked if they could bring some the next day. I was told they wouldnt have any, and no solution was provided until i requested some extta bars of soap to shower.

Easy check-in, accessible, and about a 15 minute walk to Byward Market. The amenities on the 4th floor were family friendly! The staff were all great. I do wish the beds/rooms were bigger, the hotel decor was updated and there was a fan in the washroom. Also, the hotel Starbucks does not participate in the Starbucks rewards program.
