First they cancelled my reservation. After many calls they determined it was human error. Luckily they had one room left. They then charged me double for a second room I had booked. Breakfast was a bust. Out of food. Waited 15 minutes and gave up. Holes in towels. Rooms are dated. Hot tubs looked dirty and full of algae. Doubt I stay here again

For the price, I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the lodge. We stayed in one of the suites, which still had carpet that looked dirty and dated — that part really turned me off. The inside overall felt a bit aged. The highlight was definitely the hot spring tubs, which made for a great first experience in Ouray. The evening staff member was wonderful — friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. The day staff, however, weren’t as welcoming. It was also a bit difficult taking the dogs out since there weren’t many areas nearby to walk them, but we did find the Hot Springs Park, which had a big grassy area where the dogs could have fun. The continental breakfast was okay, but the location was great — we were able to walk to most places in town. Overall, not a terrible stay, but I wish they kept up better with maintenance, especially the flooring.

Room priced far too high for condition. (and we stayed in other locations that were priced higher and lived up to their pricing). Examples: towels were yellowed and worn thin. Entry to "porch" paint peeling on steps down to raw wood. Little table was filthy. Kitchen poorly outfitted, and prominent sign that dishes were guests responsibility which 8s fibe, but not one dish towel. We will be back to Ouray but not this lodging.

Rooms were ok cleanwise but the bathroom tub and vanity sink were vwry worn and chipped , well.past due for replacement or refurbishing . Gven the almost $500.00 per night rate it should.be expected that things like that get taken care of before reaching that state of deterioration.

Loved the area, outside of the hotel was nice and the location was the best. Really enjoyed the mineral springs hot tubs at the hotel. We didn't like the room as there was mold in the bath tub, shower walls were disgusting. The carpet was old and disgusting. Made sure to wear shoes when walking on the carpet. Along the baseboards was even worse. The rooms really needed upgraded for the price. Maybe all rooms in the hotel are not that bad? We almost left after we checked in. Instead we left first thing in the morning. My wife wouldn't even take a shower before we left as due to the shower condition.

There was someone else’s hair in our drain in the tub, ceiling tiles fallen into the light fixture, the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and the hot springs hot tubs were covered in algae will never stay here again

THIS property was not what was advertised. Worn carpet that looked like it was there since the early 70s. Broken curtains that wouldn't close. Just really dated and need of a complete renovation. Not worth the price charged.

Great Stay in a quiet corner of Ouray

Great location right next to Box Canyon Falls. Easy parking and clean rooms. Easy access to the hot springs and was never crowded. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Cons: Our AC would never shut off and was kinda loud so we didn't use it as much and the toilet would run periodically (probably due to a leaky valve). None of that was a huge deal, just general maintenance items. We had a great stay and would book again

The Lodge was just average for the amount of money that we paid. it needs an update, the walls in the room were dirty, there is carpet in the room that did not look/ feel clean. The bathtub was separating from the wrap around.

This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. The hot spring tubs that they offer were completely filled with black and green mold. The beds are not queen sized. They are full. The rooms were musty and the beds were awful. I couldn’t wait to get out.

Pros- Rooms are easily accessible, especially with pets. Walkable to town in 10 minutes which was great. Easy access to hikes from directly outside the hotel. Cons- Our room had a bad smell in the carpet from previous pets. We also had mold in the bathroom in multiple places. Our AC unit also didn't work, so it was hot for sleeping. We had to open all the windows during the day to try and air it out. The bathroom door was scratched up from an animal at some point. The room cost $500 a night with pets. It was worth around $150-200 max.
