The accommodation was exactly what was advertised. Three bedrooms fit our needs exactly. Everything was really clean and all utensils and cooking stuff was provided. The hot tub was real bonus. Itâs also very near to the southeast entrance to Mt Rainier. I highly recommend this place.
For some reason we did not receive the check in details prior to our stay, but I heard back very quickly as to how to access the gated neighborhood. We used a pencil and tape available in the junk drawer to make the connect 4 game work as it was missing the bottom piece. The only staple we were missing was foil/saran wrap, but we made do! The rooms were perfect for our families with 3 young kiddos and the beds were so comfortable. Everyone loved the hottub and although we thought the home would be on the other side of skate creek rd, it was still relatively close to all the restaurants in town. The paved community would be perfect to bring kids bikes or scooters in the warmer weather months! Thank you for letting us stay in your home, we really enjoyed our stay and the checkout/clean up process was easy and made for a smooth transition back home to reality.
We rented two adjacent homes on Bugle Lane for an extended family gathering. The Wolf Den, like the other homes, is very new and has a beautiful setting. We enjoyed pleasant fall weather, close to Mt Rainier and all its spectacular scenery.
Well appointed home. The things that make the home comfortable and functional were provided. Area is centrally located. Would stay there again without hesitation.
Upon arrival we had a problem with the gate code, but we were able to reach the host and rectify the situation immediately. The house is clean and comfortable, and the hot tub is a definite bonus. The proximity of the house to restaurants, coffee and groceries is very convenient, and seeing the elk roam the neighborhood was priceless!
We enjoyed hiking Mt Rainier and walking to dinner each night in Packwood! The beds were comfy and we loved the hot tub after hiking. The cabin was clean and everything you need is available in the kitchen.
We stayed at the Wolf Den while we visited Mt. Rainier National Park and the location is perfect. 20 minutes to the Stevens Canyon entrance and 45 minutes to the Nisqually entrance. The house was spotless and stocked with good cookware and plenty of supplies, basic spices and condiments. The beds and linens were high quality also, we could tell the host didnât skimp on the things that make guests feel at home. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking too! We liked that the neighborhood was gated, and we loved having coffee and watching the elk walk by. Thank you Wolf Den!
Safe & comfortable relaxation right outside of Mt Rainier
We booked this location to be close to the Paradise entrance of Mt Rainier and it worked really well for us! We had a full day of hiking and exploring some of the most beautiful meadows, waterfalls and glaciers I've ever seen. The "Wolf Den" was quiet, clean and so comfortable - the beds, chairs, couch, hot tub, fire pit...everything was so well set up for our family to spend time relaxing together in the evenings. A short drive (or walk if it wasn't so hot) to a grocery store, bakery & other cute restaurants if you forget anything. I would absolutely stay here again!
We stayed for four night in June 2024. We come to this area usually once a year or so. This is a great little cabin in a gated community with a decent amount of parking. Initial impression upon walking in was great! Itâs a cozy and comfortable 3 bed 2 bath cabin. The hot tub was nice and relaxing as was having the fire pit available. Close to the river, and good access to mount rainier via either entry. (Be warned, itâs not accessible in the winter months due to road closures). Overall it was a great visit and we look forward to returning. The host was very flexible with our stay and extremely responsive! Thanks for a great vacation stay!
It was great. Walking distance to the grocery store and town. And walking distance to the flea market.
My husbands birthday weekend was fantastic, he enjoyed his weekend.
The property was as stated. It worked well for us. Great bedroom set up for two families with two kids each. The power in the area did go off, which was no oneâs fault. However, it would be nice to have one or two more flashlights available. loved the covered parking.
Very relaxing Christmas vacation with ski benefits
The house is very clean and have everything you need. Kids enjoyed their room with bank beds. Everything you need in kitchen, a lot of towels, etc.
Very nice decorations and bedding for Christmas time. We enjoyed Christmas tree. Thank you for thinking about small details.
We were really happy with staying at the Wolf Den. It was extremely clean (which is huge in my book) and the property owner was very nice and responsive. We had no issues. The house is well appointed and it's one of the few VRBO's that we have stayed at where the non-stick pans weren't horribly scratched. The hottub was clean and the beds comfy, too. It was a fun and comfortable house to stay in. Thanks so much!!
We enjoy staying in Packwood as a base to visit Mt Rainier and Goat Rocks. This house was beautiful and comfortable for our family. Stylish new features, well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable beds. The location is a new development a few blocks back from the main highway through town, so it's good walking distance to town but without a lot of traffic noise. Would definitely stay again!
The Wolfe Den was a great base camp for exploring Rainier that was super convenient to the park and Packwood. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our stay. There were elk out front every morning and evening, and sitting with a coffee while our little boy watched them graze was a great way to start the day.
Would absolutely love to come back!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Wolf Den! It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was a good base for our day trips to Mt. Rainier. Would definitely stay again if we end up in Packwood in the future!
