Our first and last experience with Rodeway. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. After checking in we found both rooms not clean. One room was very very dirty and smelly. Asked for another room but were refused even though there were 8 rooms available (we checked on their website and could have booked for an even lower price than what we paid for!). Receptionist told us to contact manager and disappeared. Could not contact management. We ended up leaving same afternoon for another hotel and did not even bother to come back for the following night. This place is not that cheap, spend a few more dollars and you can get a much more decent place! This place really gave Rodeway a very bad reputation. Actually we canceled our next booking at another Rodeway due to this experience!

Let me just say, spend the extra 20 bucks and go somewhere else. The check-in kiosk alone was huge turn off. The place is outdated but clean enough.

Absolutely disgusting property. Very run down and dirty. The beds were hard as rocks and pillows were flat. The bathroom was so gross we didn’t use it to shower. We stayed only as long as needed to sleep and left. We tried to get a refund so we could stay anywhere else and the property manager refused. I’m not that picky as a person but I would never recommend anyone stay here.

Our check in was with a woman over a screen. We could barely understand her English. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. We are both seniors and it was very difficult getting our luggage up and down the stairs.

Do not stay here. Terrible check in experience. No interest. Bad communication. Rude. The room was really scruffy. Dirty carpets. Patio door hanging off the hinges. Was insecure. Complained. Nothing was done. We were told fully booked, this was just because they couldn't be bothered to move us. The place had loads of empty rooms for the duration of our stay. Parking was round the back and door to room around the back. Which meant having to walk around street to get to the lobby. Very odd layout. Would not recommend staying here. Cockroaches on patio. Room smelled, air conditioning old and clanky. The room needs a whole upgrade. Walking distance to shops and restaurant. That was the only positive.

Never again! A very dirty motel that we should have avoided. After checking in we saw a sofa with very soiled fabric. The area under the vanity is covered with a piece of worn out carpet. The carpet was dirty and the whole room smelled as if some pet had peed or someone had vomited. We asked for another room but were told that they sold out. However the sign upfront showed VACANCY and there were not many cars in the parking lot. To add to the insult when we checked online it showed that this place still had 8 rooms left and the price was even lower than what we paid for when we reserved the room in advance. The receptionist asked us to email or call the manager for the issue and while we waited on the phone she went out and did not show up again. This place is dirty but very high tech! It looked like after 6 PM there is no receptionist and you have to deal with a machine and a remote operator! That was what we went through after we wanted to check out around 7 PM; the remote worker on the screen told us to drop the keys in the drop box and that is it! We don't know if and when we can get a refund but one thing we know for sure is we will NEVER come back to this place again!

The place is a total dump, everything is old and worn out, our toilet was cracked, the tub plugged up, the towels were dingy gray - disgusting:-( when we asked for clean towels we were told they did not have any available !!! Breakfast was so poor we went across the street to supermarket to buy our own food. The place looks ok on the internet, but it’s really bad in reality. The front desk is not staffed in the evening, so we had to check in via something like FaceTime, but could barely understand the person with a heavy accent :-(

We arrived during check in hours and there was no staff in the office. I had to use a kiosk to check in. It was not working properly and then had to call the number for her to reset it and then she checked me in virtually. It was less than convenient after a long day of travel! Then housekeeping was banging on our door 2 hours before check out. The room was very worn, but clean. You get what you pay for

We booked 2 rooms but they gave the rooms in 2 different buildings and floors. In spite of requesting they couldn't provide rooms closeby. Secondly, the bathroom was completely wetand there were water logged in the shower and basin area. It was a nightmare. I almost slipped on the floor as I didn't notice the water. Not worth the money
