We had a great time and the cabin had everything we needed for our trip. The communication with them was really good. They responded quickly to fix a little problem we had. I definitely will look forward on being hosted by them again.
RODENT FECES--see the pic. Yep, they were everywhere in the cabin. My daughter woke up with feces on her pillow. Let's be honest--not everything is horrible during an event like this but it did cause us to cancel most of the stay and leave after one night. The good: the property manager worked with us on most of the cost which is fair because we did sleep there and left the following day. The property was otherwise well-furnished and no other major issues. The bad: not happy we had to pay a housekeeping fee as housekeeping was obviously lacking. It was explained, when we called to complain and request our multi-day stay be shortened, that mice were indeed a persistent problem. Would have been nice to know this upfront but then I think renting it out might become an issue. Other than the mice, the negatives are this is about 100 yards off the highway. You see it clearly standing on the balcony. It's not 'loud' but don't let anyone tell you that you won't hear the trucks and motorcycles zooming by 100 yards away. Also, for those who like your AC--you ain't got none here. We stayed in July and were told no one has AC and it's comfortable. Baloney. The sun through the windows kept it warm enough we were uncomfortable most of the time. Our night there was sticky until it cooled off with the windows open and the furnished fans blowing. If you like sleeping with furry critters and want to give it a whirl, do it in the cooler months.
The cabin was perfect for our group of four. It would be very comfortable for 6 guests as well. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay near the ski area or Pagosa Springs. Checking in and out was super easy. The property managers were very helpful with the process and reached out to be sure everything was set up for our stay. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and everything worked perfectly. We will stay here again when we return to Wolf Creek.
The cabin was perfect for our family. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. We never had an issue communicating with the property manager. It was very relaxing to sit on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy the mountain views.
We love pagosa!! We make it a point to go every year! The house was amazing, however make sure you have 4wd because the driveway WILL NEED IT! We have a 2nd suburban and had to chain up to get in and out the drive way. No big deal though as it didnât take away from our visit. Our kids even locked us out and the host were amazing and ran a key to get us back in!! Definitely give 5 stars and A+ rating! Beds were comfy house was very clean and accommodating!
The area was beautiful, cabin was clean and larger than expected. My only complaint is that the downstairs bathroom had a strange smell and there was not place to put your soaps in the shower. Other than that it was a great stay!
House was great; exactly as advertised. Futon couch in one of the bedrooms was nice so kids could sleep in same room but separate beds, though it would not have worked for anyone larger than our 10 year old. Heater in living room was lovely to warm up in front of after a cold day on the mountain. Lots of heaters and blankets around the house. Plenty of room to store boots and coats in entry way. Nice touch with the snack bucket upon arrival, and it was great having normal spices there so we didn't have to purchase for a short timeframe. Could use a few plastic cups for kids, but we made the glass work with no incidents. Loved how easy the check out procedures were. Overall, very nice place and location, half way between town and the mountain.
I loved the fact that it was in the midyof everything.
The cabin was super comfy. Felt like home, so much the children cried when we left. The location was a bit loud bc of the hwy but overall a perfect family vacation. Minutes away from everything was the icing on the cake.
