As we are space aficionados, we loved this house. After ski, we could relax, use the hot tub, and enjoyed the fireplaces when it was started to snow outside. The kitchen was sufficiently staffed, some more pans could be useful as we were mostly cooking ourselves. The home is located on the way up to the wolf pass and the ski region, so we saved some time driving. It appears also an excellent location for fly fishing in summer.
The house was great, slept everyone comfortably, very quiet neighborhood, only about a 25 minute drive to Wolf Creek to go ski and a six minute drive into town. Itâs a perfect location to stay.
Loved this Vrbo! Very clean, kitchen had everything we needed. Very comfortable living area big enough for all of us to enjoy! Great location right on the river- perfect for a fly fishing family! Only thing is master bed needs a new mattress but great place!
Beautiful home located on the San Juan River. Hot tube was perfect - allowing for relaxing times enjoying the sound of the river and stars galore. Pet friendly too.
Great property, great location, property management was super responsive and beyond helpful. Only knock was steep driveway. We were fortunate that it wasnât snow covered. Would have been nervous even with 4x4. Cleanliness of cooking utensils a little suspect, but counting on previous guests is a wild card. Overall loved it, would stay again, and definitely recommend VIP in Pagosa, they are awesome.
The house is beautiful and itâs in a beautiful, quiet area. However, a couple of things to be aware of, if you have Verizon you have no cell service inside the house, but the internet works. If you have older dogs with you the stairs will get old fast! All of the bedrooms are upstairs. There are signs in the neighborâs yard that say âno poop and pee zoneâ, and they allowed a couple of dogs to come over to our yard to poop and pee and did not clean it up. The bed in the master bed is hard. If you want to use the Kuerig for coffee, use the one in the master bedroom. There are a lot of switches for things but itâs labeled which was helpful. The couch has electric recliners and the battery died. We found the cord to charge it but it was so filthy and sticky we decided to leave it. My husband did fish the San Juan River and caught two rainbow trout. It is catch and release. Be aware there is a bear that likes to get into the trash cans. He was busy the morning we left and got into several including the one on the property.
We loved our trip and being on the river was just what our family needed. The home is in a great little neighborhood and so close to town. We loved it and will be back for sure. Our dogs might have enjoyed the river more than we did.
Our family escaped the Texas heat and enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of this home and location. We all loved the outdoor activities in the area and being right on the river!
The property had no air conditioning which i questioned. They said they have no problem with ceiling fans and cool mountain air at night. This two story home needs air conditioning for the price we paid per night. The home has lots of pet hair and caused us to be congested . I asked if it was fragrance free, they said yes. No its not fragrance free. Lots of smells! The yard was completely dried up. The neighbors have green yards though. The yard was also full of ants to the point we had to go inside.
Home was very clean , very quiet neighborhood, very relaxing. Temps where in the 30s at night we would open the balcony door light fire place and listen to river at night sleep very well. Excellent stay would love to return
Very easy experience renting this beautiful and peaceful home with the San Juan River right off the deck. Property manager was very easy to work with. Very quiet neighborhood. Home is beautiful and very clean. A fireplace in every bedroom. Master bed and bath open concept with fireplace, jet tub and large shower is fabulous. Large kitchen and grill on the deck made cooking in and enjoying the home enjoyable. Having the River footsteps away was the mot relaxing part of this stay. Rather we explored the rocks and cool water, sat on the deck taking it in or were soothed to sleep by the sounds from the open windows with the fireplace glowing, it was a true, clear Colorado experience.
We really enjoyed this home, walking out the back door to the river is very enjoyable. The location is far enough out to be able to experience nature, relax and unwind but close enough if you need to run into town you can. The house had everything we needed ,the management company was on point with arrival details and service.
Thank you for sharing this property with us!
This was an ideal place for a family spring break stay. The home is comfortable and nicely appointed, and property management was excellent in helpfulness and responsiveness.
The location was perfect, close enough to town but still felt like you were in the mountains. The river is literally in your backyard and beautiful! All your basics were provided for with the house. The house had a rustic feel with all the beautiful wood, but all your modern conveniences. We enjoyed our stay a great deal. The outside of the windows were a bit dirty, but I can imagine it's impossible to keep them clean with the mountain rain and wind. Overall it was a great place to stay and we'd definitely stay here again.
