Hotel is old and in need of repair and cleaning. Room was clean but evidence of mold above shower head. Mattresses are memory foam with memory beyond useful wear. Breakfast was very disappointing. Location was excellent.

Excellent central location. However, although the hotel arranged airport taxi transfer, the taxi refused to take us up to the hotel and dropped us off about 200 yds away with 3 heavy suitcases to pull through static hindering crowds yet charged us €70. One suitcase wheel snapped ff on the uneven paths & high pavements. The rooms were cramped but clean. There was no shower gel provided, only minimal hand wash. Although there was a kettle, only 2 paper cups & 2 teabags were provided which were not replaced when used unless specifically requested. There was no complimentary water supplied neither on arrival nor during the stay. We booked 2 rooms for our family but were positioned some distance apart and on separate floors. Overall a strange set up for a hotel establishment and not particularly welcoming nor comfortable. I would not stay again.

The location cannot be beat. Walkable every where. The hotel is OK. It gets the job done but it does feel dated. We booked the family suite and it was literally an apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room and family room. Larger than a lot of apartments in USA for sure. Overall good, but know what to expect.

An interesting old building which must have been a palazzo in the past. Very conveniently situated. The whole stay was, however, marred for us by the main lift in the property ( the only one up to the first floor, which could otherwise only be reached up 2 long flights of marble steps) being out of order for the entire week, making things very difficult for my 88-year old mother, as our bedrooms were on the second floor.

From check-in to check-out…superb service. Asked about a taxi for airport departure during checkin. Receptionist called our room after we had unpacked and asked if we’d like her to book the 04:00 taxi. Done. Needed an extra key as I was not touring one day. Done. On the day of departure 03:45, the cheerful receptionist met us at the elevator to help us with our luggage. Done. There’s in-house restaurant and spa. A gourmet prepared meal in a highly tourist area. We didn’t have time for spa experiences but reasonably priced. Yes, we would definitely stay again!

This hotel was a fantastic find! In the heart of Palermo within walking distance to almost everything you would want to see or do. Short walk to the bus/train station for day trips or excursions. Elevator was accessible. Room was large and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of shopping and eating just steps outside of the door. Perfect location. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

I'm 80 years old and 5 feet tall. The room I was in had a toilet on a 8 inch stand. I had to tip toe to get on it and had to slide off it. The make up mirror was placed about 7 feet up on the wall. Enough said. The average room is like a college dorm. The only saving grace on this is the location.
