The facility, location and the rooms were very nice. The staff was unfriendly, not helpful and service levels were poor. The hotel only has 28 rooms and we rented “The Big Room” (it says that on the door) located exactly above the lobby. Every time we walked through the lobby the front desk person would say “remind me of your room # again, including one hour after we checked in. She gave us the impression we were not welcome at Holiday House. On the 3rd day of our stay, after no maid service or clean towels I asked if we could get the room serviced. The reply - “remind me of your room #”. At check out and at least my 8th encounter with her she attempted to guess which room we were in and only missed by 3 rooms. There are a lot of choices in Palm Springs to spend $2500 on a 3 day stay and we visit 3 or 4 times a year. Holiday House is in our rear view mirror.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with our free room upgrade due to VIP. It also included a bottle of champagne upon arrival. The room was very large, clean and comfortable, The staff was excellent, helpful pleasant. The place had a great vibe. It was close to many hotels, bars and entertainment. We would definitely stay here again.

The vibe was relaxed and fun, so we were required to relax and have a fun time! The fact that there are no TVs in the rooms and some beautiful books instead was helpful in creating the disconnect from the crazy world.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Holiday House for our first time in Palm Springs. The location was perfect for walking around town, but still very quiet. The decor and vibe is impeccable with so many thoughtful touches like games and books in the rooms since there are no TV’s. The pool is lovely, with views of the mountains. The breakfast spread was excellent and so nice to not have to leave the property. The staff was accommodating and even upgraded us to the private suite since it was a quiet weekend and our anniversary. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. Thank you, Chris!
