Room was very clean, however, a long walk (on carpet with luggage) away from the desk. Construction trailers and noise out the window were not ideal, however the hotel, breakfast, and pool area were fantastic. Once construction is done, the hotel is a great value!!

Unknown renovations left only one working elevator which was the furthest from my room. The breakfast was extremely lacking and I don’t understand why there isn’t an option for eggs without cheese or spinach. We also were told “if” we need to shower to turn it on, and wait 10 minutes. Very concerning so we limited our showers to only a few minutes each. Won’t stay here again.

Property under construction. While our room had already been remodeled and was very nice we had no hot water for the 2 nights we were there. Even though the last night we were told the hot water was fixed, it wasn’t. As we were heading out to memorial service, only accessible elevator broke. My sister is disabled and uses a walker and we were on the third floor. Thankful for the maintenance engineer who took us to another elevator and out through construction area. Construction crews using handicapped spaces/ramp up to side walk for their trash.

The hotel staff were all pleasant and room was clean and comfortable. The only issue is the air conditioning - the room was either freezing or roaring, seemed like no “normal” which made it hard to sleep.

Hot Stay

We stay here in a regular basis so usually don’t have any issues. But at this trip, I was put in two rooms that had air conditioners that did not work. They were able to get me in a room that the AC worked. It was a bit frustrating. The first front desk person was extremely helpful. The second front desk person seemed to be bothered that I was calling her. I understand we all have bad moments, but I was asking for help. And with the air conditioning not working while it was extremely hot out. I was very happy that it was finally corrected and I was placed in a room with a working air conditioner. Besides the young lady at the front desk, everybody else was kind and helpful as always, just a little hiccup on my stay. We always enjoy staying at Homewood Suites and look forward to our next stay without any complications.
