Yes, the room was clean. Standard amenities. Their grounds were well kept with a swimming pool and hot tub. It's a small hotel but very comfortable.

Beautiful, peaceful, and bohemian in the best sense. The lobby is very cool, with funky/mellow music playing each morning at breakfast. The rooms are well appointed with comfy furnishings and fresh linens. The showers are gorgeous! I would only recommend brighter lighting at the bathroom mirror. Also, the front desk didn't have any ideas about how to use the public transportation that is plentiful in Palm Springs. With the SunRide app, you can get a ride to many, many places for a few bucks, versus having to call a Lyft. It comes in handy because the closest place to buy food or toiletries is a mile away.

Enjoyed the low-key vibe, the art deco style and history of the facility. A very cool place to stay. Not a ton of rooms, so it keeps it from being overcrowded and room in the pool and hot tub. Cool water on hand is a nice touch. Would recommend for couples or friends, etc. , especially if you like low key and a cool vibe.

my first time staying at this hotel, and I am really glad I selected it. I had one of upstairs rooms, which featured very large, private balcony decks. If you need something, super relaxing, quiet, private and restful (which is what I really needed) I gladly recommend Movie Colony Hotel

Great location and clean room. Our only negative was another group with amplified music with glass and beer caps all by the pool on Saturday night. The only con with boutiques is not having people on property until the pool is closed.
