This was our first family trip since the passing of my late husband and it couldnât have gone any smoother. From the booking process to the check in of our actual stay. Everything was so smooth. The place was clean when we arrived and had plenty of room for me and my 4 boys. We will definitely be staying again for future visits!â
The room was nothing fancy but was sized very well. 1.5 bathrooms was nice. The only bad thing is that the king size bed was uncomfortable, but I have a bad back. 7 out of 10. Condo was priced well for peak season.
Awful. Upon arrival we could not get in the gate with the gate code. Another guest let us in. We had to pay 85 on top of everything for wristbands and parking. The property was under construction and it was confusing getting to the unit. The host never sent us the code so we contacted evolve the management company. They were unable to contact the host as well. We ended up having to rebook with Airbnb with another host and property. Which was night and day experience and we had a good time and a very responsive host from that property. I would never recommend evolve, this property or this host to anyone. Evolve was able to start a reimbursement process, but cannot guarantee that we will get the cost of the arm bands and parking back. One of the representative said they would comp us for one night. The supervisor said she will submit the request, but that is not usually their practice and cannot guarantee that. Evolve kept on putting me off telling me just to wait for the host to respond. I finally told them around 7 PM. Sheâs not gonna respond. I need to find another place. Which is what I did. Do not book with this host under any circumstances, she never responded and still to this day has not responded
Electric door lock to the front door of the unit was faulty. Property manager was easy to get ahold of by phone and apologized for the inconvenience however, we were outside in the heat with our luggage for about 15 minutes while we tried to correct the issue. A tenant from a neighboring unit let us in. Locksmith couldnt fix it so it remained unopperational. I found long strands of hair throughout the house on walls and on beds. I found short curly hair in the shower and on the headboard shelf of the master bed. Some of the pillows and quilts smelled like they hadnt been washed. Couple pool towels smelled like household cleaner. We assumed they might have been used to wipe a surface. One of the master pillows had a large gross yellow stain on it. There was dust build up in the corners and nooks of each bedroom. No vacuum, only a broom in closet. Handles of pans had a greasy feel. I washed every piece of kichenware before using it. Old grimey dish sponge left for use. I bought surface cleaner and sponge to ensure no cross contamination. At check out, the neighbor and two very young girls began cleaning the unit. I appreciate the effort but perhaps a legit cleaning service would help raise the standard.Overall, I appreciate the accesibility to the property manager and his effort but I wont stay here again because I didn't feel comfortable standing, sitting or lying on the questionable surfaces throughout the unit. $20 wristband might be a scam. I saw multiple guests w/out them
I was told to check in after 4. I got to the property at 6:00 ish. When I walked in the condo was completely filthy and disgusting. I took pictures sent them to the contact and had to end up calling her to get a response. She then proceeded to tell me she would get someone out there ASAP. Did not offer me a different space due to not having one. Did not offer any compensation anything. We did not get in to the condo until after 11:00 pm and we had our 3 month old daughter who had to sleep in the car until we could get in the condo. Still no mention of any kind of compensation. Throughout the remainder of the stay I got no response any time I tried to contact noelle who was our contact. The wife did not work and I tried to let her know with no response back. Iâm very displeased with the way this was run. The stay was fine and the condo was good once we finally were able to get into it. But other than that I was very disappointed.
Super clean, perfect location, uncomfortable sleep.
Really loved the condo. It was very conveniently located near the beach and everything we needed. Super clean and well stocked for the beach. Only problems were that it was difficult to get the door to close and lock, and the pillows were super uncomfortable and flat. The door didnât latch very well when pulled close, took some time to get it to work right. The pillows were completely flat and hard as a rock. The mattress was also overly firm and uncomfortable, my husband and I woke up with back pain each day.
Location is perfect, toes in the sand in a couple minutes. The beds are so comfortable! We enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the mornings. The cart, chairs and umbrella were perfect for the beach.
The only negative is the $20 charge per person for a bracelet to use property amenities (pools, billiard table, basketball, putt putt golf, horse shoe pits) but they don't have any of the equipment available to use these spaces. Kinda felt like we payed $80 to park.
I guess this is more on the gated community than the owner of this unit, but it is useful to know. The unit itself was so perfect so it gets the 5 star nod! We'll stay again, we'll just make sure to bring our own pool sticks and basketball!
