**If mold and mold smells brother you, don’t book!!!**
We had issues getting in the gate as the code was not the code that was supposed to be for June. July’s code is actually the code to the gate to get in. As soon as we got up to the room and opened the door, my 16 year old son, asked what the strong smell was. After being there about 20 minutes, my throat started hurting. I instantly started looking around and there was mold in the guest bathroom that was visable, mold in all of the vents, mold in the master bathroom. The listing stated there were new owners and the entire place had been remodeled, it had not been. The thermostat said there was 86% humidity in the unit. The furniture had dirt and hair on it, and the furniture felt sticky. I messaged the rental company many times, and all I kept hearing was that they reached out to maintenance and were trying to remedy the situation. Nothing was ever remedied. I got a text at one point saying to let them know if I planned on leaving early. I asked for atleast half of the money back so I could go find another place to stay if they could not find another unit close by. They said that they could not do that. The condo is pretty, it’s decorated very nice, there’s a beautiful view, but when your immune system is compromised due to being a cancer patient, the mold and mold smell make it seem too pretty. There were a few broken things. I’ll post pictures below. I wouldn’t have left such a negative review if the rental company would have actually helped in some way.
