Good hotel ; nice price

Stayed 6 nights. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Very happy that there was no carpet! Great location, close to everything, including Pier Park. Great view of the beach. Would stay here again.

I booked this hotel because it was advertised as a beach view room with a king size bed as we were only going to be in town briefly; however, after arriving at the facility, I was given a room across the busy street from the beach with a view of the dumpsters. The bathroom door would hardly close, cleanliness was not as good as I would have liked. It was a 2 bedroom with a kitchen in the middle, with very little air flowing to the front room. The air conditioner in the back bedroom was very loud making it difficult to sleep soundly. There was only one TV in the room, so the guests in the other bedroom could only watch TV from the back room where there were no chairs to sit in. The family in the room beside us had a large dog that would bark when left unattended during the day.

I don’t understand what the point of booking through Expedia is if they don’t take care of the customers on misleading places with vendors they choose to deal with. This place was gross, seedy, cops constantly for domestic violence, dirty, mold in our rooms, a film of grime on the floors. The hotel looks nice online but don’t be mislead. Our beachfront hotel to accommodate my son with autism was across the street in a dump. Holes in doors, mold, trash under beds from last guests, nothing worked properly. I’ve never stayed in worse and what we paid for was not this. The property manager said he couldn’t accommodate us on beach front and best offer was to clean it. Ridiculous. They allow recreational drugs in the rooms too and that smell traveled into the room to top it all off. Best Expedia could do was 100.00 in key cash. A joke. Don’t bring your kids here. Not clean or safe. Can’t upload any of the gross photos bc they’re too big. Expedia if you want them I’ll email directly to you.

Me my wife and our 2 kids took our first vacation to Panama City Beach and we stayed at The Flamingo Hotel And Tower and needless to say it was a very horrible experience. I booked the room through the Expedia app and it didn't let me choose our room other than 1 or 2 beds, when we got there finally after a 6 hour drive we pull up to the office and they tell us we are staying in the building across the street even though when we booked the room it said on the beach. The building we were in was just a very ran down MOTEL, NOT HOTEL. For the price we paid we definitely expected it to be alot better. The room we were in was absolutely disgusting and you could tell they DO NOT clean themproperly by anymeans. When we first got there my wife had a black light and was looking around the room and it was awful. You absolutely could not walk on the floor barefoot for more than a minute without having solid black feet, I ended up having to go to one of the workers and had them let me borrow a broom and mop and then WE HAD TO CLEAN THE FLOOR. There were dead bugs and LOTS of dirt all over the floor, in the corners and between everything. There was black mold on the ceiling in the kitchen and the bathroom. It took them 2 days to get us a remote to the TV. The people that was staying next to us lived there. The entire time of our stay there it completely reeked of Marijuana and the people next to us even asked us one night if we had a wrap or a paper so they could roll a joint/blunt.
