Breakfast was minimal and never replenished. Front desk staff was rude. No hair dryer in the room and front desk never followed up on getting us one. Toilet/shower didn't drain. Run down property. Needs work overall.
The room was dirty and had a terrible odor. We both wondered independently if someone had died in this room. Specific requests from day one through day five to clean the bathroom were ignored after promising it would be handled. No one touched the room for five days.
STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE
The property is on Rt 98 so beach is not walkable but only 5mins by car and there is beach parking there. All the staff was helpful and tried to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Breakfast was nice and a great start for each day. There happens to be an indoor gun range next door so took advantage of that while staying.
The bed was very comfortable. However, the WIFI was very weak and cut in and out--took forever to load. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. The desk chair was so worn that it should have been thrown out. There were various rust stains in the bathroom and tub. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. And they ran out of many breakfast items by the time we arrived at 8:15 AM.
Enjoyed my 5 night stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Had a pet friendly room that I know is not the best rooms they offer but it worked well for me. The bed was very comfortable which is the most important quality for me. The rest of the furniture showed its age but was adequate. The breakfast was excellent every day and there was lots of room to walk around the property with my pup. Being so close to the PCB Conservation Area to hike was a huge bonus! Also a dog friendly beach at the Pier a short drive away. I would definitely come back to La Quinta by the Pier!
I had to wait over an hour to check in because the first room they put me in was not clean. There was some confusion as to finding clean rooms. I also had no hot water to shower two of the days I was there. The staff tho was very kind and super awesome. Shout out to Deserai who does breakfast and Rick the security guard who helped me get through some tough days as my stay there was to be close to my parents so I could help nurse my father who was dying of leukemia. My dad passed while I was there and everyone was so very kind to me. I will never forget that.
as a travel agent, I would testing out different location for some family get togethe. This was an exceptionally enjoyable experience. The breakfast provided was of outstanding quality. The two young women who assisted (breakfast technician )us demonstrated remarkable professionalism and attentiveness. The environment was well-maintained, and the front counter representative exhibited exemplary service.
