The room was a loft room with twin beds on top and a queen bed below. The air conditioning and all electrics in the room were on a timed circuit and cutoff automatically after some period even if you are in the room.
The A/C blew directly on my face in the queen bed. It was too hot to turn off (especially in the loft where the kids were), but miserable to keep on. Eventually, say 03:00 in the morning we turned around and slept at the foot of the bed.
Also, the owner has signs everywhere, âdo not unplug the lampsâ?? (Why, I need to use the electric outlet?) âdo not use the towels to remove makeupâ?? Do not take towels to the beach, do not leave the lights on (why? He put them on timer anyway), âkeep the interior door closedâ, âdo not switch off sockets below the A/C controllerâ. You also canât leave the A/C on when you leave the room so itâs always hot upon your return. I called about this and the owner assured me the A/C would stay on, but it was off upon our return from the Tomb of Kings.
The bathroom is scary. Low ceiling (200cm), toilet is separating from the wall, shower smells moldy and has wooden boards for flooring.
I did finally get to sleep at 05:00 am.
The location is excellent but the room is expensive considering the deficiencies.
