The Cloud

Pros: Buffet Breakfast, large comfy bed, excellent room service
Cons: All the drinks and minerals are city prices. Not a complaint but didn't encourage us to drink on premises as was more lively elsewhere.
Location: Very close to train and tram. About a 45 minute cycle to the city centre
Great hotel close to the train station, very easy to get in and out of the city. Very safe location, hotel staff and locals were all very friendly. Read a few negative reviews before I booked so I was a bit skeptical but delighted with the choice as we booked it on a budget. There was a mini fridge in the room which we stocked up with water and wine from the gas station next door. This was essential as Paris was experiencing a heat wave. The buffet breakfast was also a real winner and set us up for the day, Paris can be very expensive so the french fry went the extra mile. Some reviews mentioned minor things like the rooms weren't very sound proof, but that's an exaggeration for sure. If you get this hotel at a budget price you will be delighted, if you're paying big bucks you probably want more amenities.
