PLACE DE LA BOURSE :
The Bourse district is renowned as a fashion mecca. In the past, young women flocked here to buy jewelry and lace. Today, fashionable designers such as Kenzo, Thierry Muggler, Cacharel and Agatha have invaded the area... Place des Victoires is encircled by buildings and mansions representative of 19th-century Parisian elegance. As evening falls, the facades light up and the square takes on the romantic air of Paris in the 1920s.

Close to Paris's Grands Boulevards, the Bourse district is appreciated for its calm and typically Parisian atmosphere. It's a district mainly frequented by businessmen and Parisian bobos, where it's easy to find a pleasant place to have lunch.
Inaugurated in 1686, Place des Victoires was the first square built in honor of the Sun King. At the time, a 7-metre-high statue of Louis XIV crowned on the foot stood at the center of the square. It was replaced in 1822 by the current statue of Louis XIV on horseback.
A stone's throw away, the Palais de la Bourse (or Palais Brongniart) is a symbol of Napoleonic gigantism. The elegance of this neo-classical building contrasts with the bustle of the surrounding boulevards. The many columns that encircle the palace give it a majestic allure. For many years, it was the official venue for trading, stocks and markets in France.

The Bourse district is renowned for its particularly pleasant living environment. If you're looking for a peaceful place where you can find shops and other services, you've come to the right place! As you stroll through the various streets, you'll fall under the atypical charm of the Bourse district. Whether you visit the Montorgueil district and its famous halles, the Palais Brongniart, or the Place des Victoires, you'll be amazed by the rich heritage of this area steeped in history!

OPERA GARNIER
The must-see monument of the district is, of course, the Palais Garnier: its façade, marble columns, gilding, grandiose statues... Created by Charles Garnier, this performance hall (which can be visited daily) is a symbol of the Second Empire. The entire district is emblematic of Haussmann-style Paris, with its grand boulevards and recognizable buildings... Other surprises await visitors: the Fragonard perfume museum, Paris Story, the Musée Grévin, the galleries and covered passages.


LOUVRE MUSEUM
A visit to the Louvre is an essential part of any visit to Paris, as the city's largest museum is packed with treasures. It brings together works of Western art from the Middle Ages to 1848, as well as works from ancient Eastern civilizations - Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan, Roman, graphic arts and Islamic art. From room to room, the former royal palace unveils its masterpieces: the Mona Lisa, the Raft of the Medusa, the Venus de Milo, the Victory of Samothrace... More than 35,000 works in all!

For guests wishing to arrive after 8:00 pm I will ask them for an additional contribution of 24€ to be given on Airbnb for a friend who will come over, give you the keys and show you around the apartment.
