Venez sĂ©journer dans notre gare de 1890 rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e au cƓur du pĂąturin.

Nous sommes dans une ferme de chevaux pur-sang en activitĂ© juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de Paris Pike, l'une des zones les plus pittoresques de tout le centre du Kentucky. Conduisez par les fermes Gainsway et Elemendorf sur le chemin de la ferme Claiborne. À 15 minutes du Kentucky Horse Park, de Fasig Tipton, Ă  proximitĂ© de Keeneland et des attractions de la rĂ©gion de Lexington.

La gare de Hutchison faisait partie du systĂšme ferroviaire L&N entre 1890-1950, elle a toujours les planchers de bois franc d'origine, les plafonds de 12 pieds et une grande partie de la moulure d'origine. À son apogĂ©e, il comprenait un bureau de poste, une plate-forme de chargement du bĂ©tail, un magasin gĂ©nĂ©ral et un atelier de forgeron. Vous pouvez en savoir plus sur la gare dans «Ghost Railroads of Kentucky». Beaucoup de familles d'origine vivent toujours dans la rĂ©gion.
Les activités de la région incluent un parcours de golf de 9 trous à distance de marche et un court trajet en voiture de nombreux parcours de 18 trous, des visites de fermes équestres, des sites historiques tels que Shakertown, Mary Todd Lincoln House, Henry Clay Estate, les champs de bataille de la guerre civile et bien plus encore.
Nous avons un accÚs facile aux autoroutes I75 et I64 et sommes situés à mi-chemin entre Lexington et Paris.

My 2nd time staying here. The rental is beautiful and clean with views of the horses & their foals. And we loved giving the donkeys carrot snackins. Very peaceful property.

Beautiful, relaxing home

Kentucky horse country is beyond beautiful and this rental home is in the middle of it. There were 35 foals born this spring and the house looks out on the pasture where they roam during the day with their moms...what could be more amazing? My 11 year fed the horses and the donkeys her weight in baby carrots and apples in the three nights we spent and has already asked when we can visit again.It is a short, beautiful drive into Lexington and the home is comfortable and private.

Just one problem...

This property is absolutely gorgeous. Quiet, clean and comfortably elegant. It was a nice bonus to have laundry detergent, washer and dryer available, too. The only complaint is the toilet paper was GREAT!!!! And that is my pet peeve at most rentals. Cheap toilet paper! So.... gotta find a new pet peeve. Wonderful stay by teen and parents.

ENJOYABLE STAY!!

We could not be more pleased with our stay here. The place was extremely clean and had ample room for 3 adults that we never felt crowded. The surrounding area is stunning with the added bonus of the nearby animals to watch and listen to. The owner communication was an added bonus and we felt the warm welcome with the flowers and cookies. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay, cant wait to return here again! Great stay overall!!

Keeneland trip

We have stayed in multiple locations over the years for our Keeneland trip and this is by far the BEST place we have stayed! Beautiful, relaxing and the hosts are great! The donkeys are so sweet! We looked out the living room window to see momma horses with their new babies in the field. Breathtaking views!

Keeneland weekend!

We absolutely loved this renovated train station! Beautifully done! It was perfect for the 4 of us. After a noisy day at Keeneland, it is so quiet and the views are breathtaking. The donkeys were so sweet and love green grapes. We had an amazing time! Will definitely be back.

Family weekend in Lexington

We stayed here for a long weekend visiting our daughters who attend college and University of Kentucky and Xavier University (Cincinnati is only a little over an hour away). We rented out both units. This is our third stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint. Both units are clean and the photos are accurate. The property is quiet and peaceful and our family loved seeing the horses and donkeys - many which would walk up to you when they see you. The owner is easy to communicate with. We prepared some meals at the units and the cookware was good. This is our favorite Vrbo in the Lexington area and we will definitely be back.

BETTER than you can imagine!!!

The property is BETTER than you can imagine!! Super clean
tons of room
and the grounds are a dream! The calm quiet surrounding pastures had horses with their 5-6 mo old babies leisurely grazing right outside the front door. Communication was easy,quick and helpful, go check this place out

This property was in a central location to access everything we wanted to do. Beautiful location, loved walking the farm and visiting with the horses/donkeys. Peaceful nights to sit outside and to soak up the ambiance. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, didn’t want to leave.

Amazing and Relaxing

We loved our stay. It was just north of town and there was great restaurants close by. We stayed here for a two day music festival and loved that it was away from all of the noise. This building has been renovated and is adorable. This was a great place for two couples to stay. In addition, we left something behind and the owner was very helpful in locating it and worked with us to ship it to us. If we come back to the festival next year, we will book here again!

Uk Move out

We stayed here while we were moving our UK college student out of her dorm for the school year. This is actually our second stay at this property. We enjoy staying here because the owner is easy to communicate with, the property is clean, and the surrounding area is peaceful and relaxing. The property is accurately represented in the photos. It is a working horse farm so there is some activity on the farm but it did not detract from our stay. We will be back in the fall.
