Enjoyed our stay. It was only a 2 minute drive to the Cabriolet lift. Hot tub worked well and plenty of space for our families to enjoy our time together when we weren't skiing.
Home's Heat Was Out for 1.5 Days - VRBO Refunded Only 5% of Trip Cost
I will start by saying this is a great property in a great location. However, the property manager did not do well maintaining the property, when issues arose they didn't tackle them quickly, and I didn't feel they made an effort make things right with us (the renters). I spent a great deal of time and resources planning this trip, and was not pleased with the state of the house and how our experience was handled. We arrived and the house was 57 degrees on the thermostat. I adjusted the thermostat a bit and came back an hour later only to see the temp had dropped further. At this point, I started making calls to VRBO because something was clearly wrong. There were two families in this house with 3 kids under the age of 2, and the outside air temp was 3 degrees that evening - making this a material defect in the house and potential safety issue. We got minimal response to the issues over the next almost 24 hours and then finally got an HVAC technician out the next day. This effectively wasted 1.5 days of a costly ski trip and the companies' best response was a small token refund that we did not feel covered even a portion of the trip.
Great location to the base of the Canyons resort- walking (ten mins) to the gondola was a faster way to get on the slopes in the morning because the car traffic gets very backed up.When we arrived, the door code did not work to get in the house. We stood outside in the cold for 20 minutes trying different codes until one finally worked.Decor/kitchen/furniture is a little outdated- tight space to work in kitchen. Bedrooms could use a few extra pillows.Living room is spacious with lots of light for the ten of us to sit together- nice views out the back- enjoyed watching people walk their dogs in the park.
The house is well maintained and cozy. The location is really close to Cabriolet lift and very connivence. It's a little bit old and some lights didn't work during our stay.
Overall we had a good stay. There was plenty of room for our group, the hot tub was wonderful with pretty views. The deep tub in the master bedroom was absolutely amazing. With that said there were a few things that could use improvement. Each TV had an apple tv but there were no remotes for it so we couldn't use it. There were quite a few light bulbs that were burned out making it dark. The trash cans in the garage were overflowing when we got there so we had no where to put trash. It was difficult to find laundry detergent as there were quite a few items cluttering up the laundry room. Overall we would probably stay here again, the location was perfect.
Property is deceiving on location. You need to drive or uber to the Canyon's or Park City. If you do walk, it's about a half mile uphill and you cross a busy intersection as well. Walking with ski gear is difficult. It accommodated our large family, and we had a great trip. The hot tub was great to have!
Fantastic property that served our group of 9 perfectly. Easy to find and a short drive from the airport. Plenty of parking and the garage was nice for storing skis/etc. nightly. Very convenient to the Canyon lot lift but get there early. Not walkable to lifts, it would be a hike.
Very spacious, tons of beds and nice bathrooms. Hot Tub was used every day, nice view across fields where dogs roam playing in the snow. Heated walkway to Hot Tub a plus. College kids stayed downstairs a lot and adults enjoyed main level open spaces. Great dining table for all! Good communication throughout the process.
Could use some newer/upgraded kitchen wares/appliances but what was there worked. Good amount of started goods, coffee, spices, etc.
With several of us over 6 foot tall, top on list of improvements would be TALLER toilets!! :+))). These reminded me of Cancun bathrooms where the seats are soooo low... (shower heads also), older ski knees prefer tall handicap commode perch! Overall a great place that made the trip special, we will be back!!
House was nice and large, nice hot tub. Management company was responsive to the couple issues we had. Neighborhood is across the road from canyons. We felt it was too far to walk with our ski boots.
Despite a lack of snow this house was a great location. The house was roomy and comfortable. Located just across the street from the Canyons area this was very accessible. The hot tub was great for all those aches and pains. Would stay there again. Only possible draw back is that the home is dated and could use a refresh. Despite this it was still very clean and comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay. The townhome was very comfortable and spacious and accommodated our group perfectly. Great location, minutes away from Canyons Village, shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. The home is well equipped. The rental team was very informative and easy to communicate with. Home was ready and instructions were easy to follow. Will stay at the townhome again if ever in the area.
We enjoyed our stay and thought it was a great getaway! So nice that there are 8 beds, we all were able to have our own. Between what we brought and what was there we had everything we needed. Would stay here again!
We loved staying here! The view was amazing, the property was very clean and the space was perfect. The kitchen supplies were clean and they had plenty of pantry items to help us out with items we forgot. I wish we had more towels but everything worked out great! I highly recommend staying here.
This property was in fair condition. It was clean but kind of dated. There's a security camera inside the house by one window, pointed outside, but we couldn't close the shutter for that window because of it. The front door has sidelights (windows) with no covering. At night, I prefer to cover windows for privacy and so these uncovered windows were a little unsettling. The latch on the back sliding glass door was loose and wouldn't latch closed some of the time. And there was a spider in a kitchen drawer to welcome us the first night there (haha). Apart from that, we loved the size of the dining table that easily accommodated our group. There were larger rooms for gathering (dining room, basement, loft). The office desk was a great feature. The pool table downstairs provided a place for some fun competition with our teenagers. The hot tub outside was a hit with almost everyone. And the deep jetted tub in the master bedroom could not be beat! Everyone had to try it!
