A perfect little cabin with all the amenities you could find at a hotel with all the space you need to stretch out and relax! It was the perfect setup for a little getaway from the desert for me and my dog! Enjoy some coffee on the front porch with the hummingbirds or s’mores in the backyard with the stars! Had an issue with a fan once I arrived, and the host instantly helped me resolve it! The neighbors were doing some construction, but they only did it mid-day for about an hour and were very respectful. Adored my time here for some RNR!

This cabin was perfect for a little weekend getaway. It was more than enough room for my husband and me (we didn’t even use the upstairs). The kitchen was well-equipped and we ate in. Neighbors were nice and not too close, so we felt like we were in the woods, not a neighborhood. The community is quiet and well-kept. It was nice to walk down to the river. One day we drove to Water Wheel Falls and did part of the hike. Totally worth the visit! We ended up driving to the cute little town of Pine on the backroads, also worth a visit. We had our small (22lbs) dog with us and it was great that the yard was completely fenced in for her. TV and internet worked great and there are plenty of ways to heat the place if you’re cold. I’d highly recommend!

Once again, an amazing trip and stay with our dogs. This place has never let us down and this is around our 5th time staying here. Clean, no issues, anything and everything you need for a cabin stay and some winding down from the busy city life. Booking again for the Summer to get out the Phoenix heat!

I have stayed at this location before. New host this time and they were great! Thorough communication before and during the stay. I feel safe and love the home and location. We had a great stay at Trout Creek Cabin! Our dog loved the completely fenced in yard. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. This was a great place to unplug and relax for the weekend. We will definitely be back in the summer months.

We have stayed at this cabin multiple times and it is always lovely! The inside is very cozy and well-appointed, and the outside space is wonderful - great deck, comfortable seating, all fenced in so our dog could enjoy herself. As with every stay here, everything was super clean and orderly and communication with the owners easy. Highly recommend!

Everything was clean, organized, and stocked, even with a few surprise extras (like coffee/creamer/hot chocolate). It helped make the stay enjoyable, relaxing and low stress. The porch was beautiful to relax on and enjoy great conversation and the fenced yard was great for our dog. Great experience and would visit again.

Fantastic cabin. I’d have to say it’s one of the best I’ve stayed in. The decor was so incredibly coordinated and just the design of the home was charming. The neighborhood was super friendly and the area was beautiful. Our dog loved the gated yard and at times didn’t want to come in. Highly recommend as I don’t normally fill these out, this one I could not ignore. Communication with the owners was very easy with hardly any delay.

Trout creek cabin is a great stay in the Payson area. We really enjoyed the cabin feel while still being renovated with everything we needed. The kids loved the loft and upstairs play space. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and hanging out in the yard. It is in a great location -- in the middle of the neighborhood but offers plenty of privacy. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had the best time! The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s so cozy and well decorated and comfortable. We especially loved how the porch and backyard were all gated and connected so our pup could roam freely.
