You cannot beat the view from these cabins. The sun rises over the grand canyon and it's a short 2 mile walk to the edge - just gorgeous. And hardly anyone around. Sunset is also beautiful. Safe, clean, quiet. Convenient location - the Skywalk is just 10 minutes down the road (to the right). Overall a comfortable stay - just a few comments....
No store around to buy water, snacks, medicine, etc. so go prepared. Cars are all parked out front of the porch area where the view is. The restaurant closes at 5pm and the food is terrible (go 12 miles down to the left to the ranch restaurant instead). The AC is loud. No late checkout.
This property is within Grand Canyon west Tim area. We thought it was in Peach Springs and started driving but it turned out to be within Grand Canyon west rim facility run by the safe team who run the skywalk and Zipline
The view and cabin were amazing. It is worth mentioning that this is incredibly remote-GPS stopped working about thirty minutes before we got there. Be sure to pack food with you. There is one restaurant with limited options on the property but it closes at 5:15pm. We absolutely loved how quiet and tranquil it was, but it was not a dark sky area as listed, unless all of your neighbors turn out their porch lights. Absolutely stunning sunset though-do not miss it!!!
Bus station to get into the park, zip line onsite (but not really for kids), amazing view into the canyon. Microwave, coffeemaker and fridge in the cabins available. The AC was quiet loud but nice to cool down the cabin during the day.
The view from the porch was amazing. Perfect for watching sunrise, sunset and stargazing. Close proximity to the skywalk made it easy to see the sights. Check-in and check-out staff were very helpful and friendly.
These cabins are a great stay when taking in the west end of the Grand Canyon. Be sure to stop at the Grand Canyon West Ranch for dinner in the ranch house followed by a campfire and songs lead by Cowboy Dave. This was a fun experience in a beautiful setting.
