Not worth it.

Train kept us up every hour over night. Not a resort, it’s a best western at most. Should not be advertised as a lodge. Zero hot tub, staff was particular whom to treat nice.

Clean and comfortable but walls and floors are thin. We were not disturbed by the train, but the guest above our room was stomping all night and we heard every word of guests talking in the hallways.

Great spot to overnight

This was the perfect spot to stay before heading to Havasupai. We enjoyed the restaurant and had a very comfortable stay! There are train tracks just behind the hotel but it didn’t really bother us - if you are a light sleeper they do offer foam earplugs at the front desk

On arrival we were given a room that was already occupied, when explaining this to reception the receptionist replied ‘it shouldn’t be’ then proceeded to check and make us feel like we weren’t believed. The room was average and the bathroom had someone else’s black hair on the shower wall still (I am blonde). We were not in to a good start. They have a restaurant attached that has poor service. We waited 30 minute to be seated. It wasn’t busy but they only had one staff member doing everything. Food order took another 20 minutes and our food arrived before our cokes. If you are a light sleeper there is a train located right next to it which you will hear throughout the night so be warned. When leaving it was all topped off by the cleaner walking in to start cleaning the room before checking out. I expressed my disappointment to reception and it was just shrugged off. Terrible service, don’t bother!! Oh and if you boom through expedia, they charge you extra cos it’s a third party!!

You will not sleep because of the trains!!!

While this hotel is nice and big, it is over priced! No place should charge $200+ a night when trains run all night and blow the horn. The earplugs do nothing! I wore loop earplugs and it still woke me up every hour or two. This hotel has a lot of pending charges and charged $14.99 for a facility fee without mentioning it. You think having a restaurant is nice but it’s not healthy food and they couldn’t even serve most of the menu because they were out of propane! The shower water was barely hot, yet the sink water is scolding hot! The hot tub was Luke warm, not hot enough to be relaxing. I wouldn’t stay here again.

From welcome to leaving staff were not friendly. Showed no enthusiasm for their job or visitors. The room had an odor. The train was relentless so yes it's noisy(ear plugs did not help). Lastly we were not impressed with the staff in the early morning. We asked if there was coffee brewing which it was supposed to be. She pointed at it and said no I'm busy. She wasn't. She just sat there and looked away. The coffee was supposed to be ready an hour before. It also was a dry hotel was not aware of this. We would have stayed at caverns inn before our hike to avoid this entire experience. I expect more customer service and at least a smile upon check in. Both girls working looked like they could have cared less about their customer. Unfortunate. lodge. Wourerecommend.
