The house was lovely and the fire pit each night during our stay was a highlight.I booked this home for the lake access, and I was disappointed to discover we were about a mile away from the shore.Perhaps it was an oversight on my part, but the description/photos of the property led me to believe the lake would be closely behind the backyard. We also found it odd that there was only one television upstairs in the open bedroom - not exactly a comfortable space to watch a movie as a family in the evenings.I must also note that during our stay, the fire alarms went off twice due to malfunction and someone from maintenance had to come address the issue.Every member of the property staff, including the maintenance man, were wonderful to interact with and I appreciated their exceptional customer service before, during and after our stay.
The property was nice - it fits exactly 8 people. There was nice back yard and deck space to hang out on. The dock is best accessed by driving and there wasnât great direction on how to get to it, but we eventually found it. The inside was cute and updated.
We stayed in the cabin while we attended the Deck the Halls wine trail. The cabin was very nice and clean and all of the necessary amenities were provided. While the house is not directly on the lake, it is just a short walk down to the dock listed by the property.
Loved this spot. The cabin was sparkling clean and checked all the boxes except the water was bit of an issue; very low pressure and very finicky hot water. Only other thing is I suggest maybe putting boxes of tissues in the baths. Everything was truly fabulous tho.
