Its a quiet rustic glamping experience. A little one room cottage with the basics amenities like a bed for sleeping a small table and only solar powered lighting. The host generously provided a battery operated fan and a flashlight that proved to be useful. If you plan on cooking there is only basics over the camp fire cooking tools so bring a camp stove and pans if you want to cook more than hotdogs over the fire. The cottage is tucked in a wooded area that makes it quite and shaded with lots of woodland critters and birds to view. Well worth the money.
Extremely quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by farmland and close to Seneca lake. One of the beds is a foam mattress to put on the floor. Youâll have to cover the motion detector light if you want to sleep.
Loved the place and the remoteness.
The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked.
Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay.
Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed.
We just needed a place without light pollution near Lincoln hill farm, so we could go to a concert, then lay in the grass and see some meteors. Pretty great.
