Overall, we LOVED our stay. The wagon was much larger than we expected and the area felt so quiet and secluded yet so safe. The wagon was so clean and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. I was nervous about the bathroom/shower until we got there. It had great water pressure and temperature. Our host was AWESOME. He replied to all our messages so fast and even had a sâmores bar prepared for us in the wagon. I have never been to this part of NY and was here for work and honestly didnât have much interest in the area until now. We will definitely come back. It was so stunning and the location of the wagon was so ideal and close to everything. Thanks so much for an awesome visit!
We loved the covered wagon. Everything is there that you need for a relaxing stay. The decor is great. The place is clean. They even had fixings for sâmores and also your morning coffee. The owners are great with filling you in on anything you need. Would recommend a stay here. Thank you so much.
We loved our stay in the covered wagon. Seth's messaging was helpful, though I did find it hard to reach him prior to our stay. Cooking over the fire had a rustic feel, while the very nicely-kept interior, with a nice bed, fridge, bathroom, and TV, kept us very comfortable in between going out for hikes at not-far-away Sugar Hill State Forest and Watkins Glen.
So much fun! We really enjoyed staying here! The s'more and fire pit put it over the top! Very comfortable! Main town is just a short drive for dinner. Lake area is beautiful! Highly recommend!
The property was clean and very cozy. Extremely comfortable evening. Had an excellent stay for a romantic overnight getaway. Seth was extremely communicative and made the whole process seamless.
My husband and I recently stayed at this charming wagon rental property, and it was an unforgettable experience! The wagon itself was beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. If you're looking for a unique getaway that combines adventure with relaxation, this property is a must-try!I would definitely return andrecommend it to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful retreat.
The covered wagon was a unique place to stay. Very comfy and cozy. Close to wineries and restaurants.
The rooster across the road adds to the country atmosphere!
So cute and cozy! Such a unique idea. We had everything we needed, clean, and just an exquisite experience of staying in such a quaint quiet place. Host was right at my fingertips for anything we needed. Book it! You wonât regret it đ
I decided to treat myself to a much needed getaway for my birthday.
Good location, clean, nicely appointed.
Good WiFi.
Only wish I would have known the water was not potable. They should have provided a gallon if spring water, that wouldhave been wonderful. Also, they need to add a couple of hooks near the door for coats and bags. Nowhere to hang up clothes .
It was a fun change of pace to stay in a covered wagon. It is conveniently located to many places we wanted to go. Only thing I wish I had known to bring drinking water.
Unique property. Wagon idea was excellent.Rain was nice on the canvass roof. Sad we could not use the fire pit.Overall, it was nice and quite different glamping.
Arriving, the bed was unmade and sheets were not changed. Garbage from previous guests was left in bathroom and main room. Heat was iot on, as I would told it would be, so I froze for 30 minutes. To top this all off, the sink would not drain and we were told we couldnt flush the toilet. We were promised a full refund, (after my boyfriend ended up being the one to fix the issues during our Valentines Day getaway). We have still not recieved a refund over 2 weeks later after being promised. I do not recommend staying here. I tried to give them a chance, but turned out very dissapointed. My texts inquiring about the promised refund were ignored.
This was a wonderful, unique getaway for a romantic overnight. The decor was charming and cozy, very creative. We had a camp fire and because it's away from the city lights, the sky was beautiful, filled with stars. Can't say enough about this place. If you have time, ride over to Seneca Mills Falls and take a short 5 mile hike.
The bed was comfortable and the over all inside made us feel like we were in the west! We most definitely would stay again. It was a wonderful experience! We even loved the roosters in the morning!
