The walk to the beach was paved and short. The neighborhood was so quiet, even being on the main road. Within a short driving distance to the âstripâ of shopping and restaurants.
This property is perfect for a family getaway and you wonât be disappointed. The communications start as soon as you book your trip and continue through your trip and beyond, by far the best communication from any rental property I have ever stayed at. The property is very clean, newly renovated, and has a nice open floor plan. The property is a 4 minute walk to the beautiful gulf and located in a very safe location. Thank you for making our stay pleasant and allowing us to extend our stay it was definitely appreciated.
Put together a short notice trip to Pensacola to watch the Montgomery Biscuits and Pensacola Blue Wahoos finish out their baseball season. Decided to enjoy the beach during the day and baseball at night, worked out well! A little issue with the door code at check-in, but was resolved on the first call in 15 minutes. Did notice the TV in the suite was having picture issues, but the others all worked well, and we really weren't there to watch tv anyway....everything else was as advertised.
This house was centrally located between Opal and Langdon Beaches as well as just a short walk 5 minute walk to the local Pensacola Beach. We stayed in the main house, which boasts an amazing bunk room for our kids, while my father-in-law had the separate suite. What a perfect set-up! I would highly recommend for families traveling with grandparents or super cool aunts/uncles. The kitchen was spacious, updated and very clean. We will be back as we had so much fun at âKeepinâ It Reelâ.
Cockroach infested, waited for 1.5 hours after arrival for them to figure out the code to the door
I cannot count how many cockroaches we saw in the kitchen, bathroom, and living room. When we arrived, the door code did not work. We had to call 3 different phone numbers and try 6 different door codes before they sent us one that worked. After an 8 hour drive it was incredibly unpleasant to wait in the humidity as the sun went down on our first night while we hoped they would come up with a code. The other option (the maintenance guy coming out to fix it) would have involved waiting 1-2 hours for him to drive here from Gulf Shores. Bunk beds are fragile and one is missing a ladder with a broken frame. Would not recommend planning on using the bunk beds for anyone over 80 lbs. Kitchen did not even have salt and pepper or a single coffee filter. Expect to spend more than you would on eating out on filling the kitchen basics alone. Location is great but cannot possibly recommend this property. Management was rude, specifically Mindy. Stay at the Fairfield. There is a hot tub that is literally boarded up so you canât use it.
