Cynthia was exceptional in responding to us. Any questions or issues were met with immediate contact. Couldnât ask for more up front considerate service.
Pros:- Check in/out was simple, items communicated clearly. - House was clean upon arrival. - Host provided welcome message.- House had ample space. - This property is relatively close to downtown. I would not say walkable, but less than a 10 minute drive. - House is about 10 minutes from the main gate of NAS Pensacola.- House has fenced, private yard.- Neighborhood was quiet.Cons:- The photos of the house are accurate, photos of the yard are not. To elaborate, the yard is pretty overgrown now and trees need to be trimmed back for ease of parking vehicles. Branches of tree at the driveway entrance hung low enough to scratch the paint on our vehicleâs roof!- The lights are a bit wonky, but is an older home. Some light bulbs burnt out. Thatâs a minor thing, but should be addressed.- The dishwasher is not secure and is difficult to open. - Toaster needs replacing. - Washing machine (while essential!) gets off balance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Pensacola.
Easy to check in. Comfortable Standard size bed plus two other bedrooms, itâs a cute beach cottage with large kitchen, washer & dryer, dining room, living room and tv room. 1 bathroom with a full size bathtub. Had to move the fallen driveway gate to park the car. Previous tenants had not swept the floors very well.
The house was clean and well stocked with necessities. There was even wine! However, it wasnât quite as close to downtown as we had hoped. Also, since it was just my husband and I we had plenty of places to sit comfortably, but if we had more people with us it wouldnât have been as comfortable.
This was a nice place for us to stay, we enjoyed the little porch and the inside was comfortable. There were cute kitties across the street and the location was rather convenient as we wanted to be downtown, close to NAS Pensacola and the beach. We did ask about an early check in and were told we would be allowed in asap. We did not get in until after 4. That was a bit disappointing but we figured it out.Overall, the space worked for us as 3 adults, it was clean and check out was easy-sweep and lock up.
We went to have a great time and we did. It was the wedding of the century at the Pensacola Yacht Club. Everything was fine however the lights throughout the house were a mess. Worked occasionally or not at all, likely a safety hazard. Regardless, the place was clean and ok. Accommodated our German Shepard very well and she behaved well.
We quickly evacuated from Hurricane Helene and booked this trip the day before we needed to leave. The property manager was very responsive and allowed us to get in early. The property was fine for what we needed and the manager was very accommodating. Wished there had been a few more pots/pans to be able to cook meals. If you plan to stay and prepare your meals, you will need to bring a baking sheet, aluminum foil, etc.
When we first got there we could not enter because the lock box combo had been changed. Unbeknownst to our host, LOL! Anyway, she was there in a heartbeat and figured out the problem quickly. We really appreciated that and also the suggestion she gave us to go to Perdido Beach rather than Pensacola Beach on that Saturday because of the crowds. And we greatly appreciate that. Due to our son is special needs and crowd loudness is very hard for him to endure. That being said, food is all super close, pubs, the downtown historic village area. Seriously a great location. Anywhere you needed to go you could be there in 2 to 7 minutes. Gave us a great home base to go exploring, eat at some great restaurants and be able to bring leftovers back with us. We all slept well. We really did. Definitely will be rebooking when we find ourselves in the area again. Highly suggest. The house is much larger than what you think. More than enough room. But do know there is only one TV in the house and it's in the sitting room. So bring your tablet or phone for bedroom viewing.
We had the BEST time at this property. The house was so cute and clean and we loved the big back yard. The communication between the property manager and me was great! She was so helpful and extremely nice. We will definitely be recommending this house to everyone.
The property was clean and inviting. Many things were provided that we needed. Roomy house close enough to downtown, beaches, and the naval base. We had a wonderful time and the house made a great place to rest to go out and do it all again every day we were there. When we werenât running around collecting shells we hung out in the backyard. Great place! I will be returning. Thank you!
Nice older home. Comfortable and presentable with basic accommodations provided. We wish the fencing around the property had been in better shape. We thought it best to keep our dog on a leash at all times for fear she would find an escape hatch.Other than that, nice place.
We had small difficulties during our stay. They were addressed or management's reached soon to address or try to address them. We had no problems except for the issue with cleanliness, some clothes being left behind in the dryer and the dishwasher quitting working on our second day there.
Mrs. Cynthia's place was amazing!! I am a United States Merchant Mariner, and my family and i were in town for New Years, and we couldn't have asked for a better home, and host!! Very convenient to everything, quiet neighborhood, and very clean!! Highly recommend Mrs Cynthia's place in Pensacola, or any other properties available she is affiliated with!! We will definitely be coming back soon to stay again!!
This property served its purpose for us. We were close to downtown, Perdido Key, and Gulf Breeze. We were wanting to familiarize ourselves to the various neighborhoods in the area as we plan to buy a house there. This house is actually in between 2 houses that are in very poor condition. However, you find that a lot in this area. We had no problems with it.
We love everything about this place and would recommend it to others. If we come back to Pensacola, we will try to stay here or in any of their properties.
