Whether this is your first trip to Petoskey or you've been visiting for decades, you'll have a fantastic experience in this downtown apartment! The thoughtfulness on amenities, decorations, and offer to help set up sleeping arrangements for our kiddos made us feel welcome right away. The space is cozy and inviting, and offers lots of options for sleeping and communal spaces depending on the configuration of your group. The location is awesome, walking distance to so much that Petoskey has to offer across all seasons. We had a great time!

This place is incredible. It comes fully stocked (unlike some places that say they do but don’t). The hosts are amazing. Zero complaints! Location is excellent bed was comfy. I’d definitely call it a 3 bedroom though! The “4th” is right in the middle of everything.

Great weekend!

We had an amazing stay over the 4th of July holiday! We had a ball tourney down at the waterfront park and truly enjoyed being right in the heart of downtown. We would definitely recommend this place and stay there again-/ thank you hosts!

This place puts hospitality first. Every detail has been carefully considered to make the stay memorable for both adults and families of all ages. Short but sweet!

A perfect location to give our Australian visitors an idea about the town of Petoskey. We could park the car and enjoy walking everywhere. Amazing stay in Downtown Petosky

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! We were right downtown and walked to so many good little places to eat. We had 3 teenagers with us and they enjoyed the ease of walking to local business and restaurants. The VRBO was beautiful. It was fully stocked and had plenty of room for my family of 5. Kristin was an amazing host and checked to make sure we were comfortable or if we needed anything. We definitely plan to return!

Fabulous apartment!

What a gem! Thoughtful, stylish and comfortable. The location was in the heart of downtown yet still felt very private. We loved opening the windows and listening to hum of people below. The layout was ideal. There are a lot of entry steps, but we didn't mind as they were wide and there is a railing. We loved how the floorplan flowed with a front and back area. Our girls took the back bedrooms and tended to hang out there and the kitchen area. This gave us a quiet area in the front room. The apartment was thoughtfully furnished with details and little tips/notes throughout. There were plenty of fresh linens and the master bed was comfy. We slept well, especially with the evening window breeze. The kitchen was nicely furnished with cookware, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The water pressure was lacking, but there was a stand alone water cooler that helped. Thoughtful touches included a stocked game table, books, toiletries, remote controlled ceiling fans, sound machines in every room, and more! The hostess even left us treats for our arrival. My girls were so thrilled! We would highly recommend this place and hope to return soon!

Fun Downtown Petoskey

Our family loved our stay here during our children’s Spring Break. We were able to relax and enjoy being in downtown Petoskey. We could step out the door and enjoy all that Petoskey had to offer.

Cozy Getaway for the Family

There are so many great things to share about La Casetta Petoskey! Our family (two adults; 5 teenagers) raved about our stay – coining our trip “the best one yet”. La Casetta is right downtown with access to everything Petoskey has to offer. We parked in one of the overnight lots and walked nearly everywhere. It’s around the corner from food, shopping, bars, and the water – truly something for everyone. Petoskey is one of our favorite cities to visit and the location of La Casetta couldn’t be any more perfect. Kristin and Marnie thought of EVERYTHING! It was one of the best stocked places we have ever stayed and we’ve stayed in quite a few vacation rentals. In unit washer and dryer was a life-saver for when we got caught in the rain or wanted to freshen up our beach towels. The artwork around the apartment gave a nice touch of home and everything was labeled which made finding things a breeze. There is enough room to hang out together or find a quiet space if someone needed to relax by themselves. The only item to consider before renting with a large group is that there is currently only one bathroom. This did make getting ready a challenge, but we got into a routine after the first night. It was easier than I had anticipated. Finally, if you have significant mobility issues, this apartment is located up a steep flight of stairs. There is a landing space halfway and a railing to assist, but it can feel like a hike. Overall, we loved our experience and plan to return!
