I needed to return to PHX for a business trip, while having a hotel with a shuttle and hotel with a pool. I stayed at this hotel on my previous trip. Upon looking to see what else was available, I decided to go with this hotel again. It's a short ride from the airport, shuttle is reliable, walking distance to a few places, and the pool has a resort like feeling. I also like that the building has outside entrances to the rooms and is only a few floors high. I was appreciative that I was given a ground level room as I had a fractured toe. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating.

Very dated, we were attacked by mosquitoes and my daughter is allergic and the neighborhood is questionable. When I shared with the front desk about the mosquitoes it was very matter of fact and was not a concern. They did move our room, but that didn’t help much. The property isn’t what is displayed. The grounds look magical in the photos, but are struggling. The staff the restaurant was amazing and friendly. This hotel is a 7 at most. Hopefully the update and preserve the property soon.

Paid extra for breakfast when booking hotel through Expedia, when I got down to breakfast I was refused rudely but the breakfast staff, and told Expedia doesn’t offer an option for breakfast. Went to from desk was told the same thing rudely. Went back up to my room and they call to tell me I can have breakfast. When I go down the lady serving breakfast was incredibly rude, threw the menu down at me. And to top it off? The breakfast was not good at all.

This is our go-to hotel when we're in the Phoenix area. Good location for our typical activities. Rates are always reasonable, and staff is always friendly. Rooms are always clean, though this visit ours was starting to show some wear. The architecture of the buildings is very nice and we especially like the Frank Lloyd Wright-esque touches and feel.
