Only downfall was trying to figure out the AC. It would randomly just shut off as if it was on a timer, but figured it out eventually after waking up at 4am when the room got to 82 degrees
The room was beautiful as was the facility. We loved the views of downtown Phoenix from our room and from the pool. Staff were friendly (though suggested Bad Jimmyâs for a good burger, I didnât solicit any more suggestions after that). The space advertised had a bedroom and a sofa bed, which was a main selling point for me as I was traveling with my teenage son. The room is and efficiency (albeit a beautiful one), with a leather couch not made for sleeping. No âbedroomâ or âsleeper sofaâ. When I noted this discrepancy, the response was âWill note that for future advertising,â not âhow can we make it rightâ. The bathroom was also very nice, but more attention is need to installing the hardware. The toilet paper holder fell apart when I changed the roll. The towel rack came off the wall when hanging my towel and bruised my toe. I was able to re-install it, and noticed the tension holding it to the wall was from the mounts being placed too far apart, rather the mounting nuts being properly secured with an Allen wrench (as designed). I think this room could easily be a five-star experience with a little more attention to detail and more transparency about what is offered. The price is great, I would stay here again if I can back Phoenix (and didnât need two beds).
