The room was good. Amenities : the courtesy of having bottled water in the room would be great. Something else woulde be to have a pochette besides the door to leave the when staying at your hotel.

The room was incredibly clean and the housekeeping/hotel staff were very friendly. The Expedia listing notes that there is a restaurant on site, however, the restaurant is no longer operating. The hotel now only offers a paid breakfast. Additionally, while the location was prime to nearby amenities and attractions, the amount of noise late at night from passing cars made it unbearable to sleep most nights.

The people were very nice but hotel smelled like old cigarette smoke and cleaning chemicals. The freeway is very loud and there were cars and motorcycles (with modified exhaust) racing up & down the street most of the night. I know that the hotel doesn't control the traffic, but still a miserable night. I rarely write a negative review, but this was the worst experiences I've had at a Holiday Inn Express in a long time.

Everything was wonderful except for two things. One when I booked the property it said breakfast was included in the price. Then we got there she told me $8.00 per person. So I felt we got scammed on that. Nothing said the breakfast was extra and I thought the “new” laws is that the hotel industry is NOT to have hidden fees. She just told me no that’s not the case $8.00 please a piece. Then it would be nice to have some kind of cradle for charging your phones. Some hotels have them and that option is very nice.
