This location is misrepresented on hotels.com. I suggest looking at MetroHospitality.com for detailed disclosure of your expected experience before booking. If I'd been informed prior to reserving at Metro Phoenix Extended, I would never have reserved there and never will again. The room type I booked was not the initial room type I was put into and no one at the front desk told me they were giving me a different room type at the time of check-in. As soon as I realized I went back to the front desk and was told that there were no King suites available and that the Queen I was given was the last of the room type available. I had already been waiting two hours past my arrival and check-in time for a room to be cleaned and made available. The room appeared to be cleaned in a hurry and not well. The bathtub was gross with possible black mold in the crevices. Be aware this location intentionally prevents a bath from being filled and used. A bath was a main reason I booked the room. The next day I waited most of the day to be moved to the actual room type I had booked, only to have to wait while maintenance installed a faucet which would allow a bath, to later not get because not enough hot water. Many insects in the room and once I realized there were bedbugs we left immediately. I insisted to receive a full refund and management refused. I only got refund from Expedia after much persistence. The ONLY staff who was genuinely kind is Asia who I would give 5 Stars to her.

Could not pay me to stay there again. Arrived after 9, front desk was closed ao i had to call a hotline. Total of 8 calls and over an hour to finally get into a cleaned room. 1st time they gave me a wrong code then the room wasnt even clean when I got in. Another call and they gave me a different room with a code that worked. Just to stay a few hours to get to the airport for a 7am flight. Horrible.

My next-door neighbors were smoking outside my room and were not quiet. There seemed to be homeless people lurking about. Although I didn't feel threatened, I was concerned about my car.

Check in was a nightmare. I did not arrive by 5:30 and there was no one at the leasing office. When I called the number on the door several times, I did not get a call back until I went through Expedia. This took over an hour. The room looked clean. However, when I went to the kitchen to eat, there were roaches in there. I killed two of them and promptly checked out.

I would give zero stars if I could. Our stay at this hotel was awful from start to finish. The room had a hole in the door and the door trim looked like it had been chewed up by a dog. The entire place reeked of weed, making it impossible to relax or feel comfortable. Even worse, there were shady people hanging around the property, and some of them made threatening gestures as we went to our room. I did not feel safe here at all. We only stayed about 20 minutes—just long enough to book a room at a different hotel. After all this, the hotel still refused to refund our money. Absolutely unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place.

Do not stay at this location! Check in at the front desk is only available 4-5:30pm. I believe they do this so they don’t have to come face to face with disgusted customers. We had 5 rooms booked (three of which were 6 bedroom occupants.) Mowt rooms had no bedding, bugs and cockroaches scattered when the e opened the doors, the hallway of two rooms was matted with dog fur, towels had hairs, bathrooms were dirty and room floors were filthy. The pictures online ate a completely false representation of what this facility looks like. Management was difficult to impossible to work with. We were promised a refund when we couldn’t stay there and are now fighting to receive that refund.

Arrived on property at about 9pm or so after flying into Phoenix. It was nothing like we expected. The property was dirty and trashy with clothes hanging from the stair well, people yelling and running around the property and cars constantly coming and going (not for the right reasons). Got inside the property and found old outdated furniture, broken counter top, shelves barely hanging on in the bathroom and a leaking bathtub faucet. We had to sign this massive agreement to even check into the property online but it was pointless. We were up all night on the first night cause the upstairs tenant was jumping around, dropping stuff and constantly in and out of his unit running downstairs to come and meet people outside our unit. Yelling, talking, and laughing constantly. We spent the next day away from the property due to the fact that we were feeling comfortable

This place is an absolute dive. Outside my room, it smelled like pot. My room stunk of who knows what. There was a domestic fight outside my room. The couch was so dirty, you couldn’t pay me to sit on it. There was no remote control for my TV. I called about it and was told to download the Roku app. The shower was moldy in areas, the shower curtain was disgustingly dirty. Looked like there was blood on the wall. The furniture was chipped and broken. The counter top in kitchen was broken. The mattress looked like it had been walked on with dirty feet. When my daughter and son-in-law arrived to their room, they found their door unlocked and pushed open the door. It stunk like crap in their room and the couch pillows were on the kitchen table. The bed looked like someone had been lying on it. They could not even close their front door, let alone lock it. People were smoking dope on the balcony above their room. One guy stopped and just stared at my daughter as she walked by. They too felt very unsafe and disgusted at the conditions and left with me to go find a safer and cleaner place to stay. We’ve asked for a refund due to the conditions, but have not received a response from management. Renter be warned! This place does not look like the pictures as advertised.
