Vince was very responsive whenever I contacted him before, during, and after our stay. The HVAC remote wasn't working and maintenance was at the door with batteries in a very timely manner. Vince was very kind and helpful and checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. His expectations were clearly communicated.
Communication was overall very good, and the stay/location was nice, however the hot tub that was promised in the listing was not cleaned and appears to have been unmaintained for quite some time prior to my stay.
Great studio suite. Located right in front of a condo/apartment complex. Able to use the pool and gym from the complex. Short walk to the Scottsdale Stadium and close to lots of great restaurants.
Beautiful room. Great kitchenette and shower. Good bed. Had these problems which were not resolved:Charged 15 for cat per nite. Not told ahead of time there was a charge. Day before trip had to take pics and send info. (After they already had money. )Faulty vertical blinds on slider. We were on display in our bed from courtyard every nite to anyone who walked by. Both smoke alarms started beeping. One in middle of night AND FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT. Hot tub not well taken care of. Was a foot down in water and was yellow/green. Couple next door went in said it was like a swamp. Owner communicated, but would never resolve the issues. Non English speaking handyman was sent but did nothing because blinds need to be replaced. Stay at your own risk.
Communication with the host was absolutely great. The studio was perfect for two people and a medium sized dog. All the essentials. Nice shared outdoor space. Walking distance to coffee, restaurants, and grocery. Just a quick drive from Oldtown. Only negative was the parking situation, make sure to lock your vehicle! Overall, good experience.
Communication with the property owners was good however the stay itself was unfortunately subpar. The unit itself had scratches and chipped paint throughout majority of the locations where furniture was present. There was red speckled material in the bathroom above the light switch, Iâm unsure what this substance was.
The unit had a fairly strong sulfur smell which made it difficult for my girlfriend to sleep.
All that being said, the worst part was how thin the walls are. This is not a reflection of the owners however I feel it is important for any potential renter to know that your (or your neighbors) ability to sleep fully depends on everyone respecting the un-enforced quiet hours. We unfortunately had tenants next to us who began talking loudly around 3AM. They continued to do so throughout the night and we were unable to sleep until 630AM when either they left or fell asleep. We were able to hear every conversation through the shared walls as well as feeling the reverberations from them slamming the doors shut persistently.
I would not stay here again due to the above. But once again, the hosts were seemingly kind, it is just the unit itself that I cannot recommend.
I really enjoyed my stay in Scottsdale. It was walking distance to places to eat and a short and affordable Lyft ride to Old Town. The area was exactly what I needed for my trip.
We didn't see from the pictures how small the room was - no place to hang anything, 2 kitchen style chairs to sit on, and only one bench to put luggage on. Very cramped feeling. Outdoor space was helpful as a place to eat or relax. Pool was clean and a nice area to go to. It was stated that they provide coffee, but it proved to be a Nespresso machine which didn't work very well and not many coffee pods. They initially stated that they would bring more pods by but then a day later stated that all they would provid us with was enough to get started - not near enough for the 5 days we were there. Location was good - close to Old Town Scottsdale. Noise levels were reasonable and we slept well.
We loved our stay in Scottsdale at Stavros. Conveniently located super close to Old Town and an easy drive to the sights we wanted to see, this apartment had everything my husband and I needed. The pool was great in February. We used the gym and outdoor eating/sitting areas as well. Still giving the place 5 stars, but the bed could be comfier and walls arenât soundproof, but nothing to really complain about.
This property had all necessary amenities plus more. The location is very convenient and the hosts are responsive and helpful.
Would absolutely stay here again.
Vince communicated very well and made the check-in process simple. The amenities and location of the property were very nice in relation to downtown Scottsdale! The little kitchenette was perfect as well as having the option to grill out. A few things that we disliked: the TV not working, dirty baseboards, black mold on the ceiling above the kitchenette, and a hole in the ceiling above the bed that was stuffed with a Kleenex.
Location excellent for Old Town Scottsdale. Close to coffee shops & restaurants. Short hop on 101 Hwy to Mayo Clinic Hospital. Much nicer than the Resident Inn hotel on Mayo campus. Suite has plenty of room for short stay for 2. Very nice enclosed patio & hot tub with pergola cover. Patio shared by 3-4 units, so is big size. Unit is clean & neat & no carpet. We travel with our cat (flea-free) and prefer units with no carpet (i.e. flea haven). Vince, manager, was in touch before-after-and-during our stay. He was helpful with any instructions we needed or suggestions. Thank you, Vince
Space was clean and the area was amazing. Every detail was thought out and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this space for your next stay in Scottsdale!
